On Saturday, October 3rd, veterans, families, and community members will gather in Danbury, Connecticut for the 1st Annual Afghanistan & Iraq Veterans Ceremony; a day dedicated to honoring a generation that answered the call, remembering those we lost, and ensuring their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.

Fall registration for Ground to Saddle: Horsemanship 101 at Bits & Pieces is OPEN.
Learn the fundamentals of safe horse handling in a supportive, judgment-free environment, including:

🐎 Horse behavior and communication
🪥 Grooming and daily care
🐴 Saddling & Bridling
🤝 Safe handling, leading, and groundwork
🏇 The skills and confidence to prepare for riding

No experience needed. No pressure. Just a chance to spend time learning new skills and hanging out with the herd.

This class is offered in four-week sessions:
