Bits & Pieces

10/12/2026

For years, the horses at Bits & Pieces have carried us.

They've carried a little boy through his first brave ride. They've carried a veteran through a hard season. They've stood perfectly still while someone who was having the worst year of their life leaned into a warm neck and finally exhaled.

They never asked for anything in return.

Now it's our turn. 🐴💛

Too many horses face neglect, abuse and even slaughter through no fault of their own. So Bits & Pieces is starting a new chapter: rescuing horses who need a second chance.

Here's our promise to every horse who comes to us:
✨ Good food, fresh water, and hay suited to their age
✨ Clean, safe shelter and room to stretch their legs
✨ Regular vet and farrier care, and grooming
✨ Gentle, low-stress handling, because their hearts matter as much as their bodies

We'll rescue them, help them heal, and find them loving homes. Some may even join our therapeutic riding program and help people the way so many horses have helped us.

Our first goal: $25,000. That covers three full years of care for one rescued horse.
It starts at Reins of Hope, our benefit gala:
📅 Saturday, November 7 · 6:00 PM
📍 Francesca's Vicinato
🥂 Open bar, dinner, silent and live auctions, and raffles

These horses have done so much for us. Will you help us do something for them?
