Riggs is in need of a new foster❗️

Remember Riggs? He was emaciated and found with a burned paw. He was rescued by a Chicago firefighter. His rescuer has been fostering Riggs and his sister, Rosie since they were rescued in early August. However, the two pups really need to be split up as it isn’t healthy to keep littermates together this long because they can develop littermate syndrome which is what is happening. Riggs and Rosie both need to be able to spread their wings and develop their own identities! 🫶

Riggs is 9 months old, up to date in vetting, neutered and ready to be your adventure buddy! He is sweet, charming, and ready to snuggle with you if you let him. He loves to play, too! He is 36 pounds so a perfect medium sized guy! He is currently in Chicago but can be transported to an approved foster or adopter. Can Riggs come hang with you? If so, please message us or apply!

Adopted: Sammy, now named Ringo!

Ringo was rescued in rural WV where many dogs aren’t as lucky as him. A huge thank you to Holly who fostered Ringo and to Laura M. who always helps advocate for dogs in the rural WV areas by connecting them with rescues. 💙

Fast forward to today, Ringo is living his best life in the Chicago suburbs. He has a mom and dad who absolutely adore him and a doggy sibling who tolerates his puppy antics. Ringo is a hilarious pup who is quite the character with a huge personality. As you can see from the pictures, Ringo hit the jackpot with his new family. 🫶 Happy life, Ringo!

Titan is enjoying those dog days of summer😎🌞

Titan has found himself being overlooked at our partner shelter in TN. She is a super handsome boy with a terrific happy-go-lucky personality. He really loves the baby pool! He wouldnt mind finding a family to hang out with or go adventures with. Whatever your pace Titan is your guy!

When we say, we have the best volunteer transporters ever, we really mean it! 🫶

Sometimes, things don’t go as planned. Transport got off to a late start yesterday which set everyone back almost an hour to an hour in a half at times for one of the runs. For a transport coordinator, this is one of the worst feelings, especially when the transport is already a long one and arriving late at night. But, lucky for us, we have the best volunteers. 🩷 Everyone was patient, understanding, and were truly in it to save the dogs.Thank you to all over our drivers, passengers, and kiddos that accompanied them. Special thank you to all of our fosters that stepped up to save them by fostering them or volunteering to let them crash overnight at their house as well!

All Hermes needs is a spot in the sun☀️ and you❤️

Hermes is a handsome young boy originally from Kosovo. He has a unique look and a calm demeanor. He can be a little shy meeting people but he is playful and sweet once he opens up. He finds a lot of comfort in being around other dogs and loves to play. One of his favorite things to do is find a sunny spot on a blanket and take a nap by the window.

Rollie is a sweet young pup who loves to play! She loves to play with other dogs as much as she can. She has been doing wonderful with her foster working on crate training and is sleeping well through the night. When we asked her foster about her she said there wasn't one negative thing she could say about little Ms Rollie. She would make a wonderful addition to any family!

Banjo is everything you'd want in a best friend🫶

Banjo's was the only one in his litter to survive to adulthood. Banjo was lovingly tube fed to keep him alive and his resilience is nothing short of inspiring. He is doing well now so it is finally time for this silly fella to find his people. He's proving nothing can stop you from being your best self! He is truly an all-around great companion!

And now URGENTLY needs
a foster or adopter by 9/12

Grey was put into boarding by his supposed foster 9 months ago and is now being pressured to get him out or he’ll he let out onto the streets in Kosovo. Grey does NOT have the know-how or temperment for living on the streets and will likely die a slow death if he ends up on his own. This poor boy is other a year old and has never stepped foot in a house.. Please help us help Grey!!
