We are still making masks! Show your support. Can you help us by sewing? If you would like to donate instead, please contact or drop donations off to Kathie Hayton Mayer or Lisa Kevin McCluer. Kathy has made over 700 masks! We are close to have made 1,000. Thank you to all that have already donated and supported us. Without you, we could not have come so far. We are extending our mask making to June 30. It is not too late to help or show support. June 30 however will be the final and last extension date.

Hi, Aunt Barbara Rutledge Thank you for your patience - in the mail tomorrow 6/2 will be your additional 5 masks with funny "lips." They are just cut outs. We just stapled ours to our mask to be silly one day, or you can tape them on Popsicle sticks. I also added a 6th silly one - it's a bathing suit and the straps are made of satin. I think if you hand wash in cold water and hang dry, it will last. It still will give you the same safety coverage.

We are still making masks. I know the news reports all of these amazingly high numbers of PPE supplies being distributed, but unfortunately there are still a LOT of essential workers and so many, many loved ones that do not have a mask and cannot get one. I wish we could make hundreds a day but we just keep plugging along until we can get to everyone we can. With this being said, I want to give a shout out to Northcape making innovative masks out of patio furniture material and Resource Plastics where I work purchasing these masks to make sure all of their employees are safe and sharing them with essential vendors - serious folks, you would be surprised how many essential workers and loved ones still DO NOT have masks. We are doing the best we can. Kathie Hayton Mayer who is our amazing sewer has already made over 400 masks! I cannot keep up with her, but I try as every mask helps someone. Show your support and your stories. Thank you for supporting this Page!
