We're down to our final few roster spots for the 2026-2027 Southside Smoke Baseball and Softball season!

We had an outstanding round of tryouts and want to thank everyone who came out! The talent and competition were incredible.

We're still looking to add 1–2 players to round out a few of our Southside Smoke Baseball & Softball rosters.

While most teams are looking for a pitcher and/or catcher, ALL POSITIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED for the right player.

After completing several tryout sessions, we are inviting select players back for callbacks and may hold one final tryout to complete our rosters.

We are looking for 1–2 players to round out a few of our teams for the upcoming season.

Today is the last tryout.
We still have some spots to fill to round out our teams.

As we wrap up our season, we have teams at all different skill levels. As an org we won 4 Championships for Boys Basketball, for Boys Baseball we won 9 championships and 4 runner up finishes, and for Girls Softball we won 1-12u National Championship, 13 Championships, and 6 Runner up.

We are based out of Crestwood for outdoor facilities going to have an indoor facility to use this year in Tinley Park with outside instructors in the winter. We are an affordable travel program that believes in developing multi-sport athletes while maintaining a healthy balance between practices, games, family time, and other sports. We have built a culture of family and community on and off the field.

We currently offer:
Baseball teams
Softball teams
Basketball programs (tryout dates coming soon)

Our program has a strong history of player development and team continuity. Over the years, our teams have earned numerous championships and runner-up finishes, including winning the NSA Southern Divisions Championship at the 12U level last season.
Across all teams, we have accumulated approximately 10
championships and 10 runner-up finishes.
We primarily play local schedules, but each team can expect 1–2 travel tournaments per season. In addition, our 12U Baseball team will be headed to Cooperstown.

While we didn’t bring home the championship trophy from Nationals this year, what these girls walked away with is worth so much more than gold. They may not have a ring, but they left the dirt with a family and a vault of memories that will last a lifetime. The connection this team shares is rare—a beautiful sisterhood that thrives far beyond the chalk lines and is incredibly special in its own unique way.

For one special player, Annie #24, this marked the closing of her softball chapter, but it is also the beautiful beginning of lifelong friendships. We will be cheering for you in your other sports. I'm honored to have been your coach during your softball journey.

This season was defined by pure grit. Many of the games kept us on the edge of our seats, and through every high and low, they never once stopped fighting for each other. What an extraordinary journey it has been for these young athletes. As we look ahead to everything that awaits us next season, I am profoundly grateful for the honor of being your coach.
