The American Legion has currently 47 members. The American Legion members meet the 3rd Thursday each month

at 7:00pm

American Legion Auxiliary:

Jeanne West - Treasurer
Virginia Hatch - Secretary

The American Legion Women’s Auxiliary members meet every other month on the last Tuesday of the month, at 7:00pm

The Palo American Legion is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with the Avenue of Flags program. Our team proudly places and removes flags five times each year to honor our veterans and serve the community, and we rely on local support to keep this tradition strong. Volunteers teens and up are welcome, and your time and effort make a meaningful difference in preserving this visible tribute of respect and patriotism.

Today we gather in solemn respect to retire our Nation’s flag, the symbol of our freedom, unity, and sacrifice. This ceremony is a tribute to the countless men and women who have served under its colors and a reminder of the ideals it represents—liberty, justice, and the enduring spirit of the United States of America. As we respectfully retire these flags, we honor there service and the proud heritage they have carried for our great nation.
