🍀🐴 PALO PINTO COUNTY 4-H HORSE CLUB IS OFFICIAL! 🐴🍀

We are SO excited to announce that the Palo Pinto County 4-H Horse Club is officially a 4-H club! 🎉

Our first club meeting will be Thursday, September 3rd at 6:30pm at the extension office, and we’d love to see anyone interested in horses, agriculture, and 4-H join us!

And here’s an important reminder: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO OWN A HORSE TO BE A MEMBER! 🙌🐴

Our club will give 4-H members opportunities to learn, compete, serve our county, and have fun through activities such as:

🐎 Horse Judging
📚 Horse Quiz Bowl
🏆 Palo Pinto County 4-H Horse Show
🤠 Learning about horses, horsemanship, leadership, and the livestock industry

Another great thing about 4-H is that your child can sign up under the Palo Pinto County 4-H Horse Club AND participate in their community 4-H club in their hometown! You don’t have to choose one or the other. This gives kids the opportunity to be involved in activities that interest them while still being connected to their local 4-H community.

Whether your child has been around horses their whole life or is simply interested in learning more, there’s a place for them in the Palo Pinto County 4-H Horse Club!

📆 Future Meetings: First Thursday of each month

We’re going to hold on practices until we meet as a club. I know my schedule along with all the new students starting school are fixing to be super busy. We will see yall at the open house for 4-H on the 27th and at the 4-H banquet and dance on August 14th!

This free event for our 4-H families will feature food, a dirty soda bar, games, prizes and dancing.

The awards celebration will recognize those members in attendance.
Special awards to be presented will include Record Book, Criteria Based, and Gold Star.
