🐴📚 We made a last-minute decision to attend the Tarleton State Horse Judging Workshop, and we’re so glad we did!

We learned so much, made some great connections, and came home excited for the upcoming judging season. A huge thank you to Megan Miller and the team at Tarleton State University Equine for putting on a fantastic workshop. We’re excited to see all the great things happening with the horse judging program!

Horse judging practice and horseback riding practice tomorrow at the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church Arena from 6:30pm-8:30pm. We can get into the arena after the miniature horse ministries are done. Please check in before entering the arena! Let me know if you have any questions! We will be judging the horses and riders on the rail, and may do a reining pattern from county! See yall there!

What a great experience at State!

🏅 Our team finished 18th Overall out of 30 teams!

👏 Konnar placed 24th High Individual out of 77, which is an incredible accomplishment in a very competitive contest as a freshman!!
👏 Kaitlyn improved TREMENDOUSLY on her reasons classes! She scored 23 points higher than she did at District! So that hard work is paying off 💪 keep it up! I can’t wait to see what you improve on next year!!
👏 Lane improved his Western Horsemanship score by 18 points and also improved his reasons score by 3pts overall! Thank you for being a team sport and making it work between track and school, I know you’re a busy kid!!!

Of course, we found areas where we can continue to grow and improve, but I’m incredibly proud of all of our judgers and the effort they put in. For a program that’s only three years old, making it to State for the first time and competing at this level is something worth celebrating!

Thank you to everyone who has supported these kids along the way.

What an incredible day and a huge success! We want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out and made this show possible.

Thank you to our amazing contestants and families for your hard work and sportsmanship, our judges and volunteers for giving your time, our sponsors for your generous support, the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church Arena arena team for hosting us, and everyone who came out to support these young riders.

Because of each of you, our exhibitors had a wonderful opportunity to learn, compete, and grow both in and out of the arena. Seeing all the hard work, determination, and encouragement throughout the day is what makes this event so special.

We are so proud of all of our exhibitors and grateful for a community that continues to show up and support our youth.
