The Palo Alto Guide Right/Kappa League Program ended the year with a great Etiquette Training Workshop. This presentation was conducted by the Palo Alto Alumni Chapter's Polemarch (President), Mr. Donald Hills. The workshop was designed to put the Kappa Leaguers in many different social situations and scenarios to evaluate the etiquette they would use and then provide them with the proper etiquette that should be applied in those situations. From personal greetings to social media and email etiquette, Mr. Hills covered all of the bases to ensure that the young men were equipped with the tools they would need to handle themselves in any social situation. This was also the last Kappa League meeting for Palo Alto's Guide Right/Kappa League "Inaugural" year. To congratulate the young men, they were presented new Kappa League Windbreaker Jackets, a Kappa League Lapel Pin and a Certificate of Participation was also awarded as a token of recognition for their commitment to the program for the year.

On Saturday, April 18th, Mr. Dorian Bohler, Physicist - Stanford University and Founder of Science on the Court, came to speak to the Palo Alto Kappa Leaguers on how to maximize AI. Mr. Bohler helped the Kappa Leaguers design business and forecasting plans via AI by creating detailed prompts with specific wording to ensure that the AI Agent produced clear and concise instructions in the output. He also provided insight on how his business Science on the Court inspires STEM learning through sports. In all, this was a great and educational experience for the Kappa Leaguers and for the brothers of the Guide Right Committee who were in attendance. Kongrats to the Palo Alto Guide Right / Kappa League Program in winning 1st Place “Small Chapter” for the Jay Crosby Award at the Western Province Council Meeting for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. this weekend. This award is bestowed to the Best Guide Right / Kappa League Programs in the Western United States. Many thanks to the Brothers of the Palo Alto Alumni Chapter Kappa League Advisory Committee for your dedication and hard work in making this a success especially with this being our inaugural year! On March 21st, 2026, the Palo Alto Kappa Leaguers were privileged to tour the illustrious Stanford University with the Head of Cardiovascular Medicine, Dr. Eldrin Lewis. Dr. Lewis who is also a member of the Palo Alto Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. took time out of his busy schedule to walk, talk and educate the Kappa Leaguers on the history of Stanford University in addition to providing some insight on his career and why he pursued medicine. As we come to the end of our campaign, we wanted to close it out with saying, if you don’t have mentor, find one, if you don’t have a mentee find one. We all can pour into each for the betterment of our youth and our communities.

Hats off to Dr. Latunja Caster a.k.a “Dr. Everything” for presenting a great workshop for our Kappa Leaguers on “Pathways to Purposeful Leadership”. It’s amazing what you can learn about leadership from simply making a Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich! This was a great presentation which provided key takeaways for the young men to build upon.

Today was a good day! The Palo Alto Kappa League held its Career Planning and Resume Writing Workshop. The young men worked diligently to map out their career paths which ended with a Mock Interview! The Palo Alto Kappa League Advisory Committee conducted the interviews and provided great feedback and critiques to help the Kappa Leaguers moving forward!
