Gunn music Annual Swing Dance is here!

Get ready for 3 hours of non-stop live swing music performed by our talented jazz bands, featuring vocal accompaniment by Gunn Choir!

Aspiring Jitterbugs can learn a basic swing routine from a professional swing dance instructor, then show off their moves on the dance floor. Plus, join the fun with a Conga line and Limbo game!

Don’t miss the spectacular Gunn Bands and Symphony Orchestra concert on February 11 at 7:30pm in Spangenberg Theater. 🎟️ FREE for all students, staff, and families with booster passes, or $10 at gunnmusic.org

The evening will begin with our Symphony Orchestra performing a stunning masterwork by Edvard Grieg alongside a brand-new composition by Brian Balamges.

Then, the Gunn Freshman Concert Band and Symphonic Band will join forces to create one powerful concert band, performing three original works for wind band!

To close, our Wind Ensemble will take the stage with Percy Grainger’s monumental Lincolnshire Posy—a true masterpiece for wind band!

🎶❤️ This morning, our incredible musicians woke up bright and early to bring festive cheer to the Gunn Staff Breakfast Party!

Performing in the spanking new building, their beautiful repertoire of holiday music kept over 100 staff members entertained and filled the room with warmth and joy.
