Education isn’t just about books 📚
It’s about growth, mindset, and becoming better every day.

It teaches you how to think, not what to think.
It opens doors you didn’t even know existed 🚪

From classrooms to real life — every lesson shapes you.
Keep learning. Keep evolving. 💡

Because education is not a phase…
It’s a lifelong journey. 🌍

Following the launch of the Dr Leela Scholarship Programme in January, we’re catching up with one of our scholars, Prachi.

Over the past months, Prachi has continued to excel in school, maintaining strong attendance and consistently high academic performance. She was recently recognised for her achievements and remains firmly focused on her ambition of becoming a doctor.

The scholarship supports her school fees, books and uniform, removing financial pressure that once placed her education at risk and allowing her to participate fully in school life.

Early progress matters.

Impact is not created at launch.
It is built through continuity.

The Dr Leela Scholars Programme exists to ensure girls stay in education consistently, bridging small financial gaps before they become lifelong barriers.

Prachi’s journey is only beginning and we look forward to sharing her continued progress.

Today, I had the rare and humbling opportunity to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama — an experience I will carry with me for a lifetime.

Beyond titles and achievements, what stayed with me most was his simplicity, compassion, and deep sense of humanity. It was a powerful reminder that true leadership is rooted in kindness, empathy, and service to others.

Moments like these encourage us to pause, reflect, and realign our purpose — both personally and professionally.

Grateful for this unforgettable experience and the inspiration it brings to continue striving for meaningful impact.

Before we support a project, we sit down. On floors. In classrooms. In small offices with community leaders. We listen to what is needed, work with partners who know their communities deeply. Our focus is on programmes that will spark generational change.

This is the quiet framework behind every initiative at Iron Lady Foundation. Not just what we do. But how we choose to do it.

Before we support a project, we sit down. On floors, in classrooms, in small offices with community leaders and we listen. We listen to what is needed, work with partners who know their communities deeply and ensure safeguarding is not an afterthought but a standard. Our focus is on programmes that will spark generational change.

This is the quiet framework behind every initiative at Iron Lady Foundation. Not just what we do. But how we choose to do it.

Empowerment is not a handout; it is a pathway to economic independence. Through our economic empowerment programmes in Rajasthan, we equip women, especially those facing social and financial barriers, with the skills, tools and training needed to build sustainable livelihoods.

Our work goes beyond vocational instruction. We foster confidence, entrepreneurship and community leadership, ensuring women can generate income, strengthen their households and shape their own futures.

This is how lasting change takes root: when opportunity is paired with capability, and women are supported to lead their own progress.

Support women on their journey to economic self-reliance. Learn more at ironladyfoundation.org.

Honoured to join (Plaksha University) as a Founder Trustee. Plaksha’s mission to reimagine technology education—rooted in innovation, ethics, and real-world impact—deeply resonates with my own commitment to education as a catalyst for change. Through the Iron Lady Foundation, I’ve seen firsthand how access to education and essential resources can empower women and children to unlock their full potential. Grateful to contribute to institutions that believe in building a more equitable, thoughtful, and future-ready.
