Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health We are the sole fundraising entity for Stanford Medicine Children's health. To support Packard Children’s Hospital, please visit www.supportLPCH.org.

Programs
The foundation is the primary fundraiser for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital; it also works to improve the system of care of children with special health care needs, and it disseminates information to raise awareness and promote action regarding key children's health issues. Fundraising
Since 1997, the foundation has raised funds to ensure that Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and the pediatric programs at Stanford University School of Medicine are able to provide the finest, family-centered care to children; train the next generation of pediatric medical leaders; and conduct research into treatments and cures for diseases that affect children throughout the world. Growth in community support over the last decade has helped transform Packard Children's into one of the nation's top children's hospitals, and has sustained its commitment to care for any child in the community, including those without health insurance. The foundation’s www.kidsdata.org website provides information about the health and well-being of children. Kidsdata provides facts about children ages 0–18 in the state of California. Data encompass all aspects of children's health, from asthma and alcohol consumption to weight and reading proficiency levels.

✨ A whole patch of pumpkins just popped up at Stanford Medicine Children's Health to welcome the fall season!
Who made it happen? Our Ambassadors for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford hosted Family Day at the Pumpkin Patch in partnership with Webb Ranch INC for the 15th consecutive year! Together, they gathered more than 70 pumpkins for the pop-up pumpkin patch at Packard Children's.

A big thank you to our Ambassadors and our Child Life and Creative Arts team, who made the day extra special in the Dunlevie Garden with games like candy corn ring toss and pumpkin tic-tac-toe, plus sweet treats to go! 🧡🍁

From tiny babies to thriving children and adults. 💙

More than 985 former patients and their families joined us for the 41st annual reunion of Stanford Medicine Children's Health neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and intermediate care nursery (ICN).

Families gathered at Stanford for an under-the-sea celebration, reconnecting with the nurses and care teams who supported them during their earliest days. Some returned more than 35 years after their hospital stays.

As part of their 50th anniversary, Price Family Dealerships asked their Toyota employees to nominate the local nonprofits that mean the most to them. Meet Josh. 💛 At 6 years old, he was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer. Instead of starting first grade at his local school, he spent nearly the whole school year at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford in chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.

But here's what he'll tell you: our hospital was his happy place.

Mario Kart tournaments. A robot dog named Loona. His radiation shield painted just for him. Every day, someone made sure he still got to be a kid.

"There's this overwhelming sense of purpose and joy," says his mom, Amelia. "That was a big part of his healing process."

Congratulations to Dr. Tanja Gruber, director of the Bass Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Diseases, on being named 2026 Scientific Honoree at the American Cancer Society San Francisco Discovery Gala! 🎉

This week, Hyundai Hope On Wheels honored Stanford Medicine Children's Health Dr. Adrienne Long (aka Dr. Golden) with a Hyundai Hope on Wheels Young Investigator Award of $300,000.

Eight-year-old Rubi, one of Dr. Long's patients, was diagnosed with cancer on her fifth birthday. After 858 days of treatment, she rang her bell on January 16th. Her sister Georgie shared it best: "Thank you to Hyundai Hope on Wheels for giving Dr. Golden this money to help kids with cancer like my Rubi. Our family thanks you very much." 💛

Now in its 28th year, Hyundai Hope on Wheels, powered by Hyundai USA and 850+ U.S. dealers, has driven decades of discoveries in childhood cancer.

The event ended with a Handprint Ceremony, where Rubi's family, Packard Children's physicians, and Hyundai leaders left their marks on a Hyundai vehicle — a symbol of hope, love, and recovery. 🎨
