The Civic Garden Club of San Carlos is having a plant sale Saturday, June 6, 10am-1pm. California native plants for your garden -- many as low as $5 (annuals), $7 (4" pots), or $10-12 (1 gallon size). Featuring California Fuchsia - beloved by hummingbirds, blooms summer through fall. (4", $7), and Fiesta Marigold and Gold Jelly Bean Monkeyflowers - colorful and floriferous! (1 gallon, $14/$15). Casa de Flores at 737 Walnut Street in San Carlos.

Winter rains and cool weather get your plants off to a great start. This Saturday should be sunny, so our nursery will be open with a nice selection of plants and friendly garden advice.

🌼 😎 Only a few spots left for this Saturday's docent-led hike! As summer comes into focus, we will take a longer route around the preserve for a slightly more challenging hike that will be just as much fun as our easier hikes. Late season wildflowers and early summer surprises will be featured, but we'll be doing a little more hiking and a little less stopping to chat so we can cover more ground.
