First rehearsal for the upcoming PACO tour!

This summer, PACO will be bringing our music to Central Europe, with performances in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria. The tour will feature four concerts, including a special collaboration in which we will share the stage with a local orchestra.

Our musicians are already hard at work preparing an exciting program. We look forward to sharing our music, building new connections, and creating unforgettable memories together. It will be a great experience for everyone!

One of the things that makes PACO so special is our students’ commitment to sharing their music with the community. We are proud to see them bringing their talents beyond the rehearsal room and connecting with audiences through performance.

The Prep Orchestra’s final concert two weeks ago marked the end of PACO’s 59th season. We extend our sincere thanks to Guest Conductor Zakarias Grafilo for his outstanding leadership and dedication to the weekly rehearsals throughout the second semester. The students’ hard work, commitment, and perseverance were clearly shown in their performance on stage.

We were also delighted to see Guest Conductor Debra Fong Debra Fong , who conducted the previous concert set and came to support the students at this special event.

The end-of-season concert for our youngest orchestra, SuperStrings Orchestra, was a huge success two weeks ago!

Under the guidance of our Resident Conductor, Natasha Makhitjani Natasha Makhijani, four months of preparation and countless hours of hard work truly showed on stage. We are incredibly proud of everything the SuperStrings Orchestra accomplished this season!

Last weekend, the Sinfonia Orchestra had a fabulous Season finale where they played several PACO Tour repertoire, accompanied our Concerto Opportunity winner, and joined by Senior PACO soloists to prepare for Bartok Divertimento. Two chamber groups from the Senior PACO Orchestra joined the concert. Many of the Sinfonia students will soon embark on a two-week musical journey through Europe, and we can’t wait to see the lasting impression they will make on new audiences across a new continent!

What a great year for the Debut Orchestra! At the season finale concert, we celebrated a great year, accompanied two of our Concerto Opportunity winners and put out a great performance for our coaches, private teachers, families and friends. Our last season finale concert of the year will be presented by the Prep Orchestra, with our Guest Conductor Zakarias Grafilo, on May 31st at 3:30pm. The Prep Orchestra will perform Mendelssohn Sinfonia No.10 in B minor, Carmen Suite No.1 by Georges Bizet arr. Zakarias Grafilo, and The Rebel by Piotr Szewczyk. Three groups will perform chamber works by Mozart, Dvořák, and Ján Levoslav Bella. Admission free. Please reserve a ticket on https://www.pacomusic.org/events/2025-26/preparatory-may-31-2026

What an energetic concert our beloved Senior PACO Orchestra delivered yesterday at the PACO season finale concert! We honored our graduating seniors, featured our 2025–26 Concerto Opportunity performers, and premiered a new work with composer David Conte in attendance.

To our graduating seniors: thank you for giving your heart, dedication, and talent to PACO throughout the years. Like the alumni who joined us in the audience yesterday, you will always have a place here and are always welcome back for a visit.

Keep PACO in your heart, and continue to soar. We are all so proud of you!

This Saturday at our final Senior PACO concert, we celebrate and bid farewell to our incredible Class of 2026. PACO students are truly one of a kind, and we couldn’t be prouder of the musicians and people you’ve grown to be. Thank you for your years of dedication. Keep playing well with others. Remember to come back and visit some time! Fly high and take the sky, PACO grads! Congratulations!
