Announcing the first Leder masterclass series of the 2026-27 season! Violist Elizabeth Oakes, Director of University of Iowa String Quartet Residency Program, will share her knowledge with all PACO students. A few PACO Academy ensembles will be playing at the masterclass as part of the Academy curriculum.

All PACO students and families are welcome to attend. The Leder masterclasses are also admission free to the public. However, the seats are limited in Cubberley Community Center Room M2, so please reserve your seats in advance on PACO website.

The Leder masterclass series is made possible by the generous donations of the Leder family.

Please join us at the PACO-Ghana fundraising concert on Saturday, October 24th at 5:00PM at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall. We will feature solo and chamber performances and speeches by teachers of the PACO-Ghana program. All donations will go towards collecting and shipping string instruments and accessories, such as strings, rosin, shoulder rests, rock stops, etc. to Accra in Spring 2027 in order to help the students continue to have access to music. Your support will help attain and send instruments to the students in Accra and keep them playing.

We will be collecting instrument and accessory donations at the concert: specifically, gently used or new string instruments, bows, strings, shoulder rests, rosin, rock stops, and mutes of all sizes. Hope to see you there!

PACO 60! Alumnus, students and community members gathered to play well with others. The event was a powerful demonstration of what our music director Scott Krijnen always says - together, we are better! Thanks for everyone who came, played, brought food, volunteered, organized the event. PACO Strong!
