The Palo Alto Masonic Lodge No. 346 has been very busy conferring degrees. 3 brothers were raised, brothers Joel Roberts, George Manuelian and Avery Lyford and an initiation for Brother Mike Liddle. We have a few more degrees to confer before the end of the year. Congratulations to our brothers and to our degree team for doing such a great job.

Freemasons 9 O’Clock Toast

“Nine O’Clock Toast,” or the “Toast to Absent Brethren.
Purpose of the toast
* To honor absent members: The main purpose is to remember Freemasons who are away, whether they are traveling, working late, or have passed away.
* To create a universal bond: The toast fosters a sense of connection, reminding members that no matter where they are, other Freemasons around the world are thinking of them at the same time.
* To acknowledge other Masons: It can also be given to remember officers of a Grand Lodge or seafaring brethren who are at sea

On Tuesday Aug. 26th The Palo Alto Lodge No. 346 had the pleasure of initiating 2 good men, who will become better men, into our lodge, our fraternity and our brotherhood. The beginning of their journey starts now. Welcome and congratulations Brother Sahr Sheriff.

The Palo Alto Lodge No. 346 gathered at our special place for our Annual Mason Beach House BBQ on Saturday, August 23rd. It was also a birthday celebration for Lady Jennifer(Norman). We enjoyed a fun day with our brothers, families and friends and feasted on mass quantities of delicious food and drink. The clouds hugged the coast, preventing us from seeing the sun, but I believe we did see the light of Freemasonry that we all seek. For the brothers who could not make it this year, we missed you and we hope all can join next year for our annual BBQ.
As Freemasons, we live by the principal tenets of brotherly love, relief and truth. Derived from these tenets are the virtues of faith, hope and charity – all supported on the three great pillars of wisdom, strength and beauty. We lived a good day as Freemasons and look forward to all of our future gatherings big and small.

Presenting the highest honor, The Hiram Award, was a proud moment for Wor. Larry and our lodge.
We had a wonderful evening with a nice social hour with delicious food(many thanks to Jennifer for preparing the small bites), then a wonderful presentation of The Hiram Award, followed by a robust dinner of Wor. Larry’s choice(Italian cuisine of course 🇮🇹). Overall a special, wonderful night of honor and celebration. Cheers to Worshipful Larry! 🥂🎉
