Funded solely by private donations and fundraising, Palo Alto Humane Society has consistently and creatively responded to protect animals and to address specific needs for their well-being throughout the mid-Peninsula. Palo Alto Humane Society develops, funds, or supports organizations dedicated to meeting specific needs of the animals of the mid-Peninsula.

👋 This Visiting Pals Friday, we're welcoming a new pup to the Pals ranks!

🐶 Snickers is a labrador retriever who lives in Palo Alto. Her birthday is November 29th, 2020. Her person explains: "She is a calm, gentle and sweet girl - who loves treats, attention and being around other dogs and humans (in that order). Despite her robust size, she thinks she's a small dog and isn't afraid of sitting in your lap!"

Palo Alto Humane is hiring a Development Director.

As our dedicated Development Director, you'll lead all fundraising strategy and ex*****on — from major gifts and donor stewardship to solicitations and the Charity Checkout program. You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with our board and small team to build PAH's development function from the ground up.

This is a hybrid role based in Palo Alto, CA.
