Registration Open for Fall Classes
Peninsula Robotics Academy is offering two 8-week fall courses designed for 6th–8th graders in Palo Alto who want to explore robotics and engineering at a deeper level.
Programming in Robotics (Tuesdays, Sept 30–Nov 18, 5:00–6:30pm): Students learn Java programming, motor control, and PID tuning, and even contribute their own code to a robot subsystem.
CAD in Robotics (Thursdays, Oct 1–Nov 20, 5:00–6:30pm): Students gain hands-on experience with Onshape, designing parts and systems used in competitive robotics.
These courses are hands-on and project-based, which means students don’t just hear about robotics concepts, they actively apply them, build real solutions, and walk away with practical skills they can use in robotics, engineering, and beyond. Classes are taught by mentors from Peninsula Robotics, a Top FRC team, bringing world-class expertise directly to middle school students.
Each participant receives a certificate of achievement, a t-shirt, and merch, and enrollment is limited to 24 students per course to ensure individual attention. Location: 2665A Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto.
