2025–2026 was a big year for Rise Together Education. 💙 RTE welcomed 8 Paly graduates into its newest cohort, continued its College 101 Workshop, hosted career and networking opportunities for scholars, and officially joined the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce as a nonprofit member. We also received a $7,500 grant from the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund. Former Paly journalism teacher Esther “Woj” Wojcicki established a scholarship fund honoring her daughter Susan Wojcicki that funded 5 scholars from Paly’s Class of 2026.
Each milestone represents another opportunity to support students throughout college and beyond. We’re better together! 🎓✨

A year of impact by the numbers. 🎓📊
In Spring 2026, 42 students received RTE scholarships, and since RTE began, 144 students have been awarded scholarships. Even more exciting, 59 RTE scholars have graduated with bachelor’s degrees.
RTE makes sure its resources go where they matter most, with 98% of expenses going directly toward scholarships.
Every number represents a student, a goal, and a college journey supported by the RTE community. 💙
We are so proud of how far our scholars have come and excited for everything still ahead.

Our FY26 Annual Report is here! 📚💙

This year was filled with growth, achievement, and continued support for RTE scholars. From welcoming a new group of Paly graduates to celebrating college graduations, expanding mentorship, and providing scholarships, we are so proud of everything our community accomplished together.

Rise Together Education continued its mission of helping low-income Palo Alto High School students pursue a college education through financial support, mentorship, and community.

Thank you to our scholars, mentors, board members, donors, families, and community partners who make this work possible.

This year, RTE is proud to celebrate 10 graduating college scholars as they complete their degrees and begin their next chapters! 🎓💙

Our graduates attended colleges across the country, ranging from San José State University and CSU Monterey Bay to Purdue University, Southern Methodist University, and the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
