Gunn Senior High School Foundation, aka Gunn Foundation, is a nonprofit founded in 1968 to raise funds to provide need-based scholarships to college-bound graduating Gunn High School seniors. Our Story:
The Gunn Foundation recently celebrated 50 years of giving as the nonprofit has been providing need-based scholarships to college-bound Gunn High School seniors since 1968. We are grateful to the
generous and supportive Palo Alto community and beyond, who wants to make college a reality for an under-served, often first-generation college student from Gunn HS. Donations, of any amount, help provide an invaluable oportunity for lower-income students to attend college with a lower financial burden. Scholarships:
Scholarship recipients are evaluated on financial need and provide unrestricted funds for students entering their first year of college. The funds can be used to help with tuition, fees, books, purchasing a laptop to replace the school-issued Chromebook, transportation, and other financial impediments to achieving a college degree on a tight budget. CORPORATE MATCHING PROGRAM
We participate in all employee match programs including Google and Apple (via Benevity). These contributions make a significant impact on our fundraising abilities, so your extra step to make a match is truly appreciated. The Gunn Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization, bearing Tax Identification Number 94-6182158.
