Founded 01 March 2015 Pennies for Poultry is an education and sustainability program that encourages everyone, especially children, in the United States to save their pennies, and then donate them to be used to purchase chickens for families and orphanages in need around the globe. These chickens are purchased from the locals, are taken to the areas of need where coops are built, and then raised b

y the families and children who learn to care for them and collect eggs to be used as food or sold for income. While children and givers in America learn that all things have value and that anyone can make a difference, no matter how small it may seem, children in areas of extreme poverty and hunger will be provided with food and a source of income. They learn what it means to give, share, and truly love thy neighbor. Pennies for Poultry is more than just a program to end hunger; it seeks to educate others with the skills they need to raise, prepare, and sell their own food, and it unites God’s children from around the globe, through something as simple as a penny.
