We were so excited to surprise the Palmyra Area Food Pantry with a $1700 grant through the Palmyra Chamber of Commerce Prosperity Fund through the Community Foundation Serving West Central Illinois & Northeast Missouri! We know the funds will be put to good use.

We are proud to partner with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines in awarding a Member Impact Fund grant to the Palmyra Area Food Pantry. This investment will help provide essential resources that strengthen the pantry’s ability to serve individuals and families, ensuring access to nutritious meals and necessities.

The Palmyra Area Food Pantry is dedicated to providing assistance and compassionate support to those in need. Their commitment to caring for neighbors and strengthening families helps build a healthier, more resilient community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Strong partnerships create stronger communities, and we are honored to be part of this effort to invest in the future.

Our Mission Project for VBS was the Palmyra Area Food Pantry. We raised $139.56 and this morning delivered all of the items collected last week. Thank you for your generosity to our Mission Project! 😊✝️❤️

We are proud to recognize Bill & Sharon Wommack as this year’s Philanthropic Couple honorees at the United Way Evening of Philanthropy.

With hearts for service, Bill and Sharon have made a lasting impact on the Palmyra community. Sharon founded the Palmyra Food Pantry in 2005, which now serves 75–100 families each week. Bill supports the mission by transporting food donations and giving his time to local 4-H and FFA programs.

Together, their compassion and dedication have helped countless families in need.
