SVCC's Delmar L. Doody award is sponsored by JDH3 Designs. It is awarded to an individual that has served on the board for at least 5 years, has contributed significantly to the of the Chamber & championed the work and benefit of the Chamber to the communities within Sebasticook Valley.

Our 2026 recipient: Angel Davis Quick has served on the board of directors since 2001 & president since 2012. Throughout her tenure, Angel has actively participated in numerous committees, consistently going above and beyond in every role she undertakes. Whether working on a committee or helping to organize events, her dedication, energy, and attention to detail are evident in everything she does.

In addition to her own tireless efforts, Angel’s husband, Steven Quick, has also generously contributed his time and talents to support the Chamber. His expertise has played a key role in enhancing various fundraisers, helping to generate valuable revenue for the Chamber. One of the most notable examples of their dedication is their involvement in the Festival of Trees, the Chamber’s largest annual event. From initial setup to final cleanup, Angel and Steven are deeply involved every step of the way, making significant contributions to the event’s success.

Angel has been instrumental in the success of SVCC and her passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment truly embody the spirit and criteria of this very special award.

SVCC's Joyce Packard Community Spirit Award, sponsored by Sebasticook Valley Federal Credit Union, recognizes an individual within our 12 towns that exhibits Joyce's extraordinary commitment to the betterment of Sebasticook Valley, as well as the power and spirit of volunteering.

Gary Dorman, a resident of Town of Corinna, has been instrumental in developing the Perfect Fit Community Center, and making it what it is today. Gary is also a huge supporter of the Levi Stewart Community Theater, you can find him in many of the local shows.
