I’m looking for a business or other public space to place a box to collect items for this project along with lists of needed items. Any ideas? Or better yet any small business owners want to let me use their space to place a box and maybe get a little more foot traffic :)

We visited a church Peter played ping pong with someone at the shelter and we discussed how our mission was the same as the church.

While Peter’s Plan focuses on homelessness he helps anyone he sees in need. This family was carrying a couple small bags of groceries home the boy closest to mom has a broken zipper on his coat we didn’t have a warm one his size but putting a big wind breaker over his coat held it closed and gave him a hood!! His big brother next to him was only in a hoody we were able to warm him up with a lined flannel and windbreaker! Mom and I talked about how much kids eat and we gave mom and each of the children one of the bags. All were grateful. It was beautiful mom insisted on giving Peter a birthday gift we declined twice but my heart could tell mom needed to do this... Peter and I talked about how most people WANT to do good things and if we all do what we can the world will be a better place.

Peter Stanley would like to thank everyone that donated food, money, warm clothing, blankets etc.. today we delivered 30 more bags of food/toiletries for a total of 101 bags!! Thanks you for helping him reach this goal! I pray each of you feel as blessed as we do to help people who need it.

We got a few more donations and looks like we’re close to meeting Peters goal. But anything you could get to us this week would be great!! Hoping to deliver either Friday or Saturday!! 100 bags.... that means with your help Peters plan will have helped 100 people eat for at least a day! Plus all the coats and blankets helping Rochester’s needy stay warm! This continues to be so good for Peter as well. It really helps his young heart to know that he can help make a difference.

Trip planning is going better we are able to accept winter coats etc... Peter packed food/goody bags in the car on the way the clothing was in the trunk of our car parked near by we just handed it to them right out of the trunk. Any items collected that are not handed out directly to people on the streets have been donated to REACH - Rochester Engaging in Action for the Chronically Homeless on our way home :)
