A HUGE thank you to all of the Scouts and their families that work hard to make sure that we had another successful year of Scouting for Food. On Saturday, the Caring Cupboard received a total of 13,248 pounds of donations. Of that amount, Cub Scout Pack 456 collected 5,766 pounds! Way to go Scouts!

On October 29th, Jo Ellen Litz spoke on Elections and her job as a commissionser to Den Pack 456 led by Scout Master Jeff Discello at Trinity UCC in Palmyra.

Our local Scouts are out in the community this week collecting non-perishable food and personal care items to help support families in need. If you received a flyer on your door, that means your home is part of the collection route!

What to Do:

Place your donations in a bag or box labeled “Scouting for Food.”

Put them outside in clear view of the street before 8:30 AM this Saturday, November 8th.

Please, no glass containers, perishable, or expired items.

Every can, box, and bottle of shampoo makes a difference! Your donations go directly to support neighbors in need.

Thank you for helping make a positive impact through Scouting! Together, we can make sure no one goes hungry this season.

The Blue and Gold ceremony is an important event in the Cub Scouting world. This event combines elements of a ceremony, potluck, and celebration, where Cub Scouts transition through ranks, receive awards, and reaffirm Scouting values. It often includes food, fun activities, and recognition of Cub advancement and leader appreciation. The Arrow of Light ceremony may also be included for 5th graders crossing over to a troop.

Our Blue and Gold ceremony took place on Saturday May 17th at our new location: ECS
