Anchor House Mission We seek to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of seafarers and SeaPort Manatee community Center open Monday-Friday at 10am.

Closing time varies based on ship traffic. Saturday and Sunday are open as needed.

It is with heavy hearts that we recognize the loss of Carrie Lee Holton, wife of executive director Jeff Holton. Those who knew Carrie will remember her as a loving mother who always put her children first, a loving and patient wife, a fiercely loyal friend, and a compassionate teacher who impacted countless lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 31, 2026, at 3:00 PM at West Bradenton Baptist Church, located at 1305 43rd St W., Bradenton, FL.
All who would feel led to support the Holton family through their presence are invited to attend.

Please keep the Holton family and all who loved her in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

This is Jebin! He serves as OS on one of the ships which comes monthly. He loves Tacos, Soccer, and his daily cup of coffee ☕

As an experienced seafarer, he looks to the small things to help get him through the day…. Like his daily coffee. “I’m so joyful about my coffee, every day. I’m always so happy about that.” 🔆

Pray for seafarers like Jebin, and that God blesses them with daily bread that encourages them and draw them near to the source of Life.

The Giving Challenge is tomorrow!

One of the joys we have at Anchor House is to see God do beautiful things. This is a picture of a brother and sister who had not seen each other in over a decade! The seafarer reached out to Anchor House to see if we could bring his sister back to his ship because he did not have a shore pass, and we were able to make this happen.

It was a special day not only because they were able to reunite after over a decade, but also because it was his birthday. What you can't see in the picture are the 8 or 10 seafarers above, all crying tears of joy at this beautiful event.

Join us tomorrow, April 15th, at noon for the Giving Challenge so we can continue doing the awesome work God has called us to do.
