Palmerton lions is looking for a few people to help out in our stand at the community Festival. The hours we need volunteers for our Saturday from 2:00 until 5:00, 5:00 until 8:00 and then 8:00 until close. On Sunday we could use help between 3:00 and 6:00 and then 6:00 until 9:00.

We are so proud of our Lions Club President, Mark Green and his wife Karen. They made quite a few wooden pieces for display at the fair. It took many hours of Labor to cut, assemble and paint the pieces. They did an amazing job. They are on display all through the fairgrounds. * thank you Jason Green and David Eckhart for helping to set everything up.

We are selling raffle tickets to benefit the Carbon County Lion/Lioness Fair Queen. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. All CASH PRIZES. Winners will be drawn Saturday August 8th at the fair.

Come on folks. Palmerton Lions really needs your help. As you know we sell waffles and ice cream and corn on the cob at the Carbon County Fair. Palmerton Lions Club is looking for volunteers to help in our waffles and ice cream stand at the Carbon County Lion Lioness Fair from August 3rd through August 8th. Monday through Friday the shifts available are from 3:00 p.m. till 6:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday the hours available are from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. till 6:30 p.m. and from 6:30 until10:00 p.m. all help is greatly appreciated.
