We’ve been a bit lapsed on this page, just a struggle juggling socia media and using the skills center. Because of that we are looking for moderators that are willing to help out with this page and potentially hep Veterans with projects in our skills center. If you are interested PM us.

With this snow we want to remind our followers that we have the equipment to change tires over, on or off the rim. We dont have any employees, so its a DIY job, but its cheaper and faster than most places today/this weekend!

We were able to help Robert change over his tires. He is 100% service connected disabled and has heart problems so doing it himself wouldn’t have been possible. Paying for the tires and medical expenses on a fixed income made it financially impossible to pay for it. He was driving on a spare and a completely bald tire already. He knew the risk but couldn’t afford to take care of it by himself.

This is exactly the situation we built the skills center for. No Veteran should be making the choice between safe transportation and paying bills. We gave him a hand up, made sure he knew he wasn’t forgotten, and hopefully helped him on his way to being able to help others.

If you need to have your tires changed and want to learn how to do it yourself come on by. We wont do it for you but we’ll help you do it for yourself.

We are looking for volunteers to work in the skills center.

Must have experience (professional or personal) working on vehicles, fabrication equipment, and the desire to mentor veterans. Safety focused is a must as well.

This will be a great opportunity to serve veterans and their families, and to make the skills center into a great community resource.
