Our club welcomed several VIPs at our meeting this week. We were graced with Gary Ahumada, District Governor of the Pacific Northwest District, Key Club International and his two Key Club colleagues from Seattle, Washington. Bill Pagaran, President of Carry the Cure, Inc., gave a very motivated, informative presentation on the group's efforts to stem su***de among Native Americans. Thank you so much, Gary and Bill!

Our 17th annual Moose P**p Palooza took place today! THANK YOU so much to all the Kiwanis volunteers and the hundreds of supporters who made this event a success. A BIG round of applause and thanks to the Palmer Fire Department who did the actual drop from their immaculately shiny fire engine!

Our 30th annual Kiwanis Golf Tournament was held yesterday, with 38 golfers participating at the Palmer Golf Course. Thank you so much to all the golfers and volunteers who made this a successful event! There was a tie of 61 points between Team MSRMC (MatSu Regional Medical Center) and Team Lund; after a coin toss, Team Lund won the tournament. Congratulations to all the golfers!
