Wondering why to be a Catholic in a world that promotes such confusing and contradicting things? Come and learn! This Saturday at Saint Michael’s at 7 p.m. Jason Evert with be giving us a talk on Why Be Catholic! The event is $20. but if you are not Catholic or cannot afford $20. right now, we would like to cover that cost for you. DM if you have any questions and please share this event with your friends! Join us Saturday, August 27th at 7 p.m. at Saint Michael Catholic Church for this special event with world renowned speaker Jason Evert! The cost is $20 a ticket but don’t let that be a hindrance to you. Saint Michael’s or donors will sponsor your ticket if cost is a problem. Simply come! You can get a ticket at the QR code on the poster (2nd photo of this post). You can also get tickets at the door. Hey guys!! Join us tomorrow night for youth night! Johnny Giroux, Maggie Giroux’s brother, senior in college and finance major at Miami University of Ohio will be giving a talk with his sister on Letting Your Yes Mean Yes and Your No Mean No! The night will begin at Saint Michael’s in Palmer with 6:30 Mass and Adoration and will go until 9 p.m. We hope you can join us!

We’re so excited for our auction and spaghetti dinner fundraiser tonight! Please join us with your families at Saint Michael’s Social Hall! It’s just $10. a person to get in, $15. a couple, or $30. a family. All proceeds support our youth attending the National Catholic Youth Conference this November followed by a college visit to Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Some of our valley youth had a blast today supporting our friend Oles who placed 27th out of 300 in the Mt. Marathon race! Way to go Oles and all the runners out there! 🏃

UPDATE: Our Unplanned movie night has been postponed until further notice. If you’d like to watch the movie tonight with your family anyway, it is available on many different media outlets. We’re sorry that we will not be gathering tonight but look forward to watching Unplanned together with you soon sometime in the near future! Stay Tuned! We will be meeting at 6 p.m. and encourage all to join us for Unplanned, a movie consisting of a truly powerful story of a former Planned Parenthood director’s journey to recognizing the reality and sanctity of every human life, at all stages. (We want to make you aware of the heaviness of certain scenes in this film and it’s R rating. Those under 18 will need their parent or guardian to fill out a permission form in order to watch with us and we certainly encourage you to look into the film ahead of time if you’d like). We hope all can join us and look forward to seeing you for this powerful communal event.
