We are here to support both Active & Retired Police K-9's in need. Together we can make a difference. He won my heart the first day I met him.

I started fundraising for Police K-9's several years ago for Police Departments that do not have a budget allocated for the K-9 program. It was then when I met K-9 Buddy, a German Shepherd from the Netherlands. As my journey continued, I learned how Vital these dogs are to Police Departments and to their communities. Devoted, loyal and committed to their handlers. I couldn't sit back and watch a P

olice K9 not receive medical care, equipment and necessary training because a Police Department does not have an allocated budget for a Police dog that is an officer of the Law. It has been my mission for several years to support K-9 programs locally that do not have an allocated budget. K-9 Buddy recently lost his battle to cancer on 4/1/2022. He was an exceptional Police dog and deserved respect just like any Law Enforcement officer. So now, it's time to step it up, do more and support as many as possible Police K-9's in need. It is our mission to help other non budgeted Police Agencies and retired Police K-9's Nationally with funds needed for medical expenses, equipment and training. In memory of K9 Buddy, a grant for the Buddy Foundation is going to be established in months to come. Together, we can do this. Buddy was fortunate to never go without. Please join us in this mission that NO K-9 will ever go without and be able to receive funds when in need!

Bob was a prominent first responder in many communities. He served as a paramedic in Greenfield and played vital roles for the Charlemont Police Department as well as the Shelburne Center Fire Department. Bob was also active in the Shelburne Grange, the Jr. Ambassador Program at Franklin Medical Center, Safe Kids, and the Franklin County EMT Association.

Here in Franklin County, Robert Manners will always be remembered for all of his contributions to the community.

🚨UPDATE, K-9 Casey was located deceased

Sadly on 8/16/2026, K-9 Casey was located deceased in the median of the New York State Thruway. All indications show she was struck by a vehicle and left at the scene.

Please keep the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, K-9 Casey, handler, family and the community that loved her in your thoughts and prayers.

🚨BOLO MISSING K-9 Casey, New York🚨

The Albany County Sheriff's Office, New York is searching for missing K-9 Casey.

K-9 Casey is a bloodhound that went missing from her residence on 8/15/26 in the Village of Ravena.

Anyone with information or who may have seen Casey is urged to call the Albany County Sheriff's Office at 518-765-2352.

UPDATE: K9 Drake has been found.👍

🚨BOLO MISSING POLICE K-9🚨

K-9 Drake is currently missing, if you are in the area, keep a lookout 👀 🐕

Release:

K9 Drake is currently missing in the wooded area behind Dixie County Middle High School (city property known as the Spray Fields).

While Sgt. Henry was bathroom-breaking the dog, another free-running dog attacked K9 Drake. Both dogs ran into the thick woods while fighting.

If you see K9 Drake:
• Call 911 immediately and report the location
• Do not approach the dog
• We will come retrieve him

We currently have personnel and a drone in the area searching.

We want to thank everyone who has shared our posts and helped us look for Ellie. We truly appreciate the support from our community.

Unfortunately, Ellie has still not been located. If you see her, please call 765-668-8168 immediately and let us know her location so we can get deputies to the area as quickly as possible. If you only comment or make a post on social media, we may not see it in time to respond.

We are still holding on to hope that Ellie will be found. This has been an incredibly difficult time for the Sheriff's Office, especially for her handler. We ask that you continue to keep an eye out for her and continue sharing our posts.
