Happy May friends and neighbors! A reminder about the neighborhood cleanup followed by the potluck in the park on May 16th. I will put yellow trash bags for the neighborhood cleanup on the picnic table in the central park just before 8:00am. Burgers and hotdogs served at noon! Being a side dish to share. Come join the fun with live music, bouncy castle, and games until 4:00! Look for the signs posted the week of at the neighborhood entrances! Make it great!

There is a little tan dog that has been causing a lot of ruckus around manhattan way, he just got into someone’s trash today and made a huge mess. If this is your dog, please keep him tied up or indoors. There are leash laws in Matsu Valley.

24.05.030: It is unlawful for any animal owner to allow an animal to annoy any person

24.05.070: All animals shall be continuously under restraint. The Borough has a “Leash Law”.

Thank you for all that attended the homeowners association meeting tonight. Just to recap a few things that were discussed
*our cleanup day for the neighborhood will be May 16 neighborhood cleanup from 8-12 yellow bags will be provided at the park and from 12 to 4. There will be a party in the park with food and bounce house.
*There is a committee trying to update our covenants for the neighborhood there will be a survey of what changes you would like to see it will be emailed out or mailed out if you do not have email attached to your account.
*There was another committee formed to look at our water quality for our neighborhood.  
* we have to go through Gateway community council to look into getting speed bumps in the neighborhood one of the concerns is snow plows being able to plow with speed bumps.
* we were updated as far as the gravel extraction, and if you see any concerns as far as them not being in compliance please call the borough permit center
*we have had many complaints about not being in person and only doing Zoom so we went back to in person and had a decent turnout with 37 properties represented.

Thank you for all that participated in tonight’s HOA meeting. Our annual bbq and neighborhood clean up day is May 18th. Please mark your calendars. Hope to see everyone there.

Last we we could hear Palmer Highs from our neighborhood. I am sure tonight will be aven louder.

Can we please spread the word for better awareness for our neighbors.
