We are so related to bringing these profound groups to this region. We have studied statistics, and they prove that “43% of participants went back to an abusive environment because shelter space was unavailable. Additionally, the average rate of free entry indicates that one in five individuals leave shelters and return to their abuser, often seeking shelter again.” This data demonstrates the importance, strategy, and impact that our program is committed to reducing racial disparities and enhancing attention, thereby reinforcing development throughout every stage of this program.

Honoring Mothers & Inspiring Change. This fundraiser honors the enduring memory of every mother who has fallen victim to intimate partner violence, celebrating their strength and inspiring hope, as we strive to celebrate those who continue to show strength and resilience. Your support helps our organization continue providing hope, healing, and resources to those in need. Roughly 75%of domestic violence victims are killed while attempting to leave the relationship or after the relationship has ended.

We are a faith-based, community-driven nonprofit. If we do not offer a survivor the opportunity to reconnect with their faith in God, then we deny them the chance to experience holistic restoration. It was the perpetrator/abuser who inflicted harm, stripping and tearing them down, because broken people break people and hurt people hurt people, not God, who inspires us to uplift and support one another.

First, we would like to take a moment to acknowledge Nichole‘s Mother Esther Maestas & Sisters Angela Maestas Kathleen Maestas & Family for allowing Damaged GoodsOrganization to bring this project forward. Unfortunately, Nichole loss her life to IPV-Intimate Partner Violence. According to CDC, “Data from U.S. crime report suggest that about 1 and 5 homicide victims are killed by an intimate partner.” Now, that the trial is over It is our humbled honor to bring forward a positive and impactful project in memory of such a beautiful spirit, NICHOLE’S HOUSE will be a pillar in our community and is just the beginning of the many safe houses that will come forward under this organization. Nichole and founder of Damaged Goods Organization had one thing in common, they both experienced abuse at the hands of the same perpetrator, but Tinequa Bedford made it out alive and it is Nichole did not. So, PLEASE help us reach our goal and spread awareness by sharing this with everyone that you know and make sure you watch it until the end💜 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜.

We are so humbled that Nichole’s family is allowing is to dedicate our next project to her.

Lets take a moment and not only reflect on Nichole’s life, but all the victims/suvivors that have loss their life’s to IPV-DV or still caught in the vicious cycle of abuse💜.

A December shooting rampage left Nichole Nick-Maestes dead. Maestas' mother was shot six times but survived. Maestas says her daughter's boyfriend is the one who pulled the trigger.
