From César:

Folk, just a heads up. If you receive or have received correspondence or contact from a family member of mine, please know it was without my consent or knowledge. The situation with my mother primarily at the moment is very difficult and after she lied to many of you, saying I was receiving care when I had just survived kidnapping, psychological torture, medical neglect including denial of antiretroviral treatment, and witnessed slavery, child abuse, abuse of pregnant women in the center which a former acquaintance called "Auschwitz for Addicts". I was subsequently put in a luxury clinic that did not offer actual treatment, but more psychological abuse and denial of antiretroviral treatment at the time of 45k USD for 40 days.

If you feel defrauded, if you feel angry, you know how I feel too. Please do not share with others if you had correspondence with my mother or any other family members, except the police if you are contacted because my mother shared the list of GoFundMe donations and cash donations she solicited by defaming me, by hiding her culpability after nearly having died at 113 pounds with hepatitis b and untreated HIV.

I don't make this post lightly, this is not an appeal for support or a shoulder to cry on, but a community message to inform people who have been hurt by my mother's 32 year streak of abuse and manipulation, including isolation by intervening in my friendships, professional relationships and even my relationship with mental health professionals.

Edit: If my mother has shared with anyone the sob story of my stepfather, Luan V Dang a former Deputy Lieutenant of the Sheriff's Department, suffering heart failure, stroke and other issues—both my mother and stepfather injected steroids and human growth factor imported illegally from Russia. Something which hasn't been shared, I'm assuming, with the County they were suing for restoration of full benefits and retirement since he was mysteriously moved from internal affairs to Castaic men's prison.

Today is . I'm raising a small amount, $500, to incorporate Antelope Valley Dream Team formally as an LLC in California and register for 501(c)3 status. This would allow the Antelope Valley to attract funding, operate transparently, and return to our role providing legal clinics, legal aid, advocacy on an international, national, state and local level and defend our community from the threat of mass deportation.

If you find it in your heart, it's less than 500 dollars to get everything together. You can also be a member or part of the board if you have the qualifications and interest. Thanks again for supporting migrant advocacy rooted in community, not personal ambition.

AVDT is feeling Very litigious in the Chili's tonight. Just kidding, we're defending transparency, good governance and civil and human rights against opacity, law-breakers and data brokers/nosey ICE officers. See our Press Release below for the case R. Vega Magallón vs. Quartz Hill Water District.

Got a question? Just call or send a message. We're open 24/hrs because so is ICE.

From the DESK of Antelope Valley Dream Team, TODAY every trustee in the Antelope Valley's school districts ( ) received a letter asking the Boards about their policies in relation to the presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on school campuses, attempts to enter schools or the kidnapping of students or parents by ICE. The letter is below.

Honorable Trustees of the Antelope Valley’s School Districts
PRESENTE

The purpose of this letter is to inquire as to steps the District is taking to prepare for the anticipated increase in immigration enforcement, including the end of restrictions on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operating in sensitive locations—such as schools and churches.

The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has begun preparing for such incidences by directing its staff via training to properly react to the presence of ICE in school district property, including attempts to enter schools.

For the safety and wellbeing of students and the community, we ask the following:

Does the school district have policies in place to respond to ICE raids, presence of ICE on campuses or other emergencies similar to those for active shooting scenarios? If so, can the public access them readily? If not, when will the District implement such policies and make them available?
In the case of raids in the community, does the District have safety plans to ensure students whose parents are detained are accounted for and not left homeless or alone? Will the district provide emergency assistance, such as meals, for these children? For children who may lose their legal guardians to detention, does the district have policies in place to ensure rights of detained immigrant parents and prevent custodial interference?
Will the District follow steps of LAUSD and other districts to ensure potentially affected community members have their custodial rights made expressly clear through hosting of town hall forums, know your rights workshops and other community activities to disseminate information in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner, without sowing panic or causing a truancy crisis?
Will the District allocate resources and moneys to legal aid for affected students, including cooperation with Consulates and local non-governmental organizations, to assist families in obtaining vital documents and other necessary documentation should they be affected by raids, detentions or orders of removal?
Does the District have policies or will it develop them to inform staff on State law regarding the rights of parents and students especially as it relates to their immigration status or national origin? Will the District take steps to prevent hostile staff from reporting students and parents to ICE?

With the safety & wellbeing of the Valley’s children in mind, I thank you for your time and efforts. Thank you in advance for your responses and your actions to securing our communities’ futures.

In Solidarity,
César Miguel R. Vega Magallón

Just down Palmdale Road they're planning on reopening a detention center the Federal government itself shut down due to the abhorrent conditions. 3 Detainees are still inside out of a total of nearly 2000 beds and kennels.

How do they plan on filling the rest?

Donald Trump and Stephen Miller want to deport 15 Million immigrants from the United States by any and all means. Our immigrant communities are in the middle of three detention centers, three ICE offices and just hours from an international airport and bus terminal.

Half of Palmdale's residents speak Spanish at home. We must coordinate and come together to resist Mass Deportation and preserve our history and legacy of compassion, community and family unity.

Open letter to United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Archdiocese of Los Angeles and St. Mary's Catholic Church on allegations from the parishioners or the clerical staff brought to me by a restrained person. Carta abierta a mi Arzobispo y la iglesia vecina.

Archbishop José Horacio Gómez
Father Benito Rojas,
U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops
Archdiocese of Los Angeles
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Palmdale

PRESENTE.
