Latest improvements were to fix the wall heating system because it gets super cold here in the AV. An interesting fact about houses built in the 1950's in Palmdale: They had vents in each room and a fan in the attic which distributed both heat from the wall unit and cold air from the swamp cooler through the house- in other words a primitive central air system.
Had the great guys from Patterson Heating and Cooling fix the venting system and update the electrical in the attic and 900 bucks later have a wonderful central heat system without the cost of a central air unit. it gets down into the 20 degree range at night for several months of the year so the heat is really needed to keep the pets warm and toasty. Below are Snowball and Tony who now get along.
Still lots of work to do on the house.
