The great outdoors hit different when you're surrounded by community. Our Solé of the Community families packed up and headed out for a camping trip our kids won't forget anytime soon. They set up their own tents, explored nature up close, made new friends under the open sky, and got some real quality time with the people who matter most. No screens. No distractions. Just fresh air, good people, and beautiful views in every direction. Thank you again to all our volunteers and supporters! Looking forward to seeing you next year!

What a day to remember. Our Solé of the Community families came out and showed UP at Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park, and the energy was everything. Walking through history together, learning about a man who dared to build something entirely his own — that's the kind of experience that stays with you long after you leave.

To every family who came out and made the trip special, thank you. To our guides and everyone who helped bring this day to life, we see you and we appreciate you more than words can say. This is what community looks like. This is why we do what we do.

Attention parents — it's time to register for our Allensworth Camping Trip! We're heading to Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park, named after Colonel Allen Allensworth, the highest-ranking Black officer in the U.S. Army who, in 1908, founded California's only town built and governed entirely by African Americans. It's a place where history comes alive — and your family gets to experience it firsthand. The best part? All expenses are paid. Transportation, meals, and everything in between is covered.
