The Palmdale Freedom Coalition would like to wish everyone a very meaningful memorial day. And while we hope that everyone is enjoying a day off or a backyard barbecue or maybe even a hometown parade, our most fervent wish is that everyone enjoying the blessings of this country would take some time to consider the sacrifices of the men and women who came before us, who gave that last full measure of devotion, that others, some of whom they would never meet, might know, and cherish Freedom. And we pray that on this solemn day, elected officials and common citizens alike, revisit the struggles of our forefathers, the courage exhibited by America’s Warriors throughout the last 250 years,  and the magnitude of the sacrifice made by every one of our fallen heroes from our country’s founding to present day so that we may have a sincere appreciation of the gift those men and women have bestowed upon us, the gift of Freedom. We owe a great debt of gratitude to those who fought and died defending America and its founding principles. Let us never forget that debt and let us always stand ready to defend America and the blessings of liberty as we point to the future. It is the only way to repay those to whom we owe so much. May God bless our fallen and may God continue to bless the United States of America.
