Paws For Justice is incredibly proud of our CAOCIE, OCTLA, and CAOC family and friends for helping us raise $3,100 at this past weekend’s event at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort.

In preparation for the summer soccer season, we have a few extra-small and small soccer jerseys available for dogs weighing 8–20 lbs. You can receive one of these team jerseys with a donation of $100.00. Please email [email protected] to check on the remaining team availability.

From Coronado to communities across the country 🐾

We were honored to have Ric speak at the National Association of Trial Lawyer Executives (NATLE) Winter Meeting during the AAJ Winter Convention in San Diego, sharing the heart behind Paws for Justice, and how the legal community can help drive real impact for animals in need.

From highlighting our past events and fundraising efforts to encouraging more pet-friendly legal events that support local shelters and rescues, the response was incredible. We’re so inspired by the number of states already reaching out to get involved, partner, and support the adopt, don’t shop mission.

A special thank you to our Bronze Justice Partner, Strategic Capital, and to NATLE for giving us this platform to create meaningful connections, on both sides of the leash.

We were also so grateful to have board member Tracee Wagner with us (and her sweet pup Vino!), alongside our beloved PFJ mascots, Milo and Toby, both proud rescues from Moreno Valley Animal Shelter 💛

This is just the beginning.

What an incredible first year! Since launching on February 16, 2025, Paws For Justice has transformed from an idea into a movement, and we couldn’t have done it without YOU—our supporters, partners, and sponsors.

In just 10 months, through three successful events, we raised $22,200 for animals at risk and helped find forever homes for 10 shelter dogs through our partner shelters. Each of these 10 dogs will spend this holiday season in warm, loving homes—the greatest gift we could imagine. Not to mention how our donations are helping countless others still waiting in these shelters.

A special thanks to the trial lawyer community who has opened their hearts to our cause— , , and have been incredible partners in hosting our events. We’re also deeply grateful to Strategic Capital for their generous sponsorship that helped make our mission possible in our inaugural year. Their partnership has been instrumental in building our foundation.

Together, we’re creating a powerful bridge between the legal community and animal rescue.
