Respect & Tradition: Notre Dame vs. Navy
Gamewatch details: https://palmsprings.undclub.org/events/141429
To honor this respectful rivalry, our official watch party moves to the historic American Legion Post 519 in Palm Springs, the perfect setting to celebrate both teams. As a special bonus, the gathering will also mark the 88th birthday of two-time Bengal Bout champion and game-watch push-up squad legend Frank Nacozy ’59. The venue is open to Legion members, veterans, active military, and their guests. Irish fans and friends will need to RSVP to Tom Bowsher ’87, AL Post 519 SAL member, to be added to the ND guest list. Let’s honor this storied rivalry together — Go Irish! ☘️🏈
Game Notes: This weekend’s clash continues one of college football’s most enduring rivalries — the Notre Dame Fighting Irish lead the series vs. the Navy Midshipmen 81–13–1. Entering the game, Notre Dame is 6–2 and Navy is 7–1. This year’s meeting is at Notre Dame Stadium, adding both historical weight and playoff-minded stakes. Notre Dame’s balanced offense against Navy’s disciplined triple-option attack — a classic test of power vs. precision.
