Pace provides girls an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, and training.

Pace is a nonprofit organization that has served more than 40,000 girls since 1985. We believe all girls, regardless of their story, deserve a safe and supportive space where they can become strong, compassionate, and successful women. Pace combines education, counseling, and life skills coaching for girls in middle and high school at no cost. Our year-round academics and mental health supports wo

rk hand-in-hand to achieve a holistic and comprehensive path to success. The Pace Reach Program provides therapy where you are, offering social, emotional, and behavioral health and case management services for girls ages 11-17 and their families at no cost. Reach helps girls build relationships, learn communication skills, build positive coping skills, improve grades and more from the comfort of familiar places

Pace Center for Girls receives support from the State of Florida, Department of Juvenile Justice.

💚 Get Your Green On, Palm Beach County! 💚

May is Mental Health Awareness & Trauma-Informed Care Month, and the team at Pace Center for Girls is proud to support the Get Your Green On campaign by wearing green and helping raise awareness about the importance of mental health, healing, and trauma-informed care.

Through our REACH Program, Pace provides support, resources, and guidance to girls and families in our community because no one should face challenges alone.

Together, we can reduce stigma, encourage understanding, and remind others that help is always available. Join the movement by wearing green, starting conversations, and spreading awareness throughout our community.

Today, we honored the memory of Melissa with a beautiful garden dedication at our school. 🌸💜

Melissa’s brother Brian, accompanied by her mother, grandmother, and aunt, joined the Pace girls as we dedicated the garden in her memory. Brian shared heartfelt memories of Melissa along with a powerful message of hope for the girls in attendance — reminding them to never give up, because you are valued, cared for, always loved by someone, and never alone.

Each girl painted a garden rock in Melissa’s favorite colors and with symbols of the things she loved, including soccer, and placed them throughout the garden in remembrance of her life and spirit.

May Melissa’s memory continue to live on and grow alongside the flowers planted in her honor. 🌷

As we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month, we also want our community to know about our REACH Therapy Program, available to any girls ages 13–18 in Palm Beach County. Our licensed therapists provide services directly to girls throughout the county at absolutely no cost to them.

We LOVE our community partners! 💜

Last week, we were excited to welcome representatives from Office Depot, Women of Color ARG, Norton Museum of Art, PBSO - Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach, Florida Atlantic University Mobile Minds, Grace Essentials 365, Inc., and Palm Beach Dramaworks to our Partnership Appreciation Reception for the 2025–2026 school year.

Thanks to the incredible work of our College & Career Readiness Coordinator, Mrs. Nancy Wilson, these partnerships help provide our girls with meaningful opportunities including career exploration, guest speakers, creative arts experiences, and interactive field trips that inspire growth, confidence, and expanded possibilities for their futures.

Pace Center for Girls Palm Beach is proud to offer a free Summer Credit Recovery Program designed to help middle and high school girls get back on track academically while also receiving counseling, emotional support, and life skills development in a safe and supportive environment.

Today, we were honored to welcome Store Manager Angel Vazquez from the Boynton Beach Walmart ( #3011), who presented a Walmart Spark Grant check to our Executive Director, Mindy Hanken, and Pace girls, in support of a brand-new program at Pace Center for Girls, Palm Beach — PaceFit! 💪💗

PaceFit is designed to empower girls through physical fitness, confidence-building, and wellness. This generous grant will help provide equipment for our girls to use as they grow stronger both physically and mentally.

We are incredibly grateful for Walmart’s partnership and support of our mission. Angel also shared that he looks forward to attending our next Career Fair and becoming even more involved with our center.

🍷🇮🇹 A Taste of Italy with Heart! ❤️

Last week, on April 22nd, we hosted our annual Taste of Italy event at Carmine's La Trattoria Restaurant in support of Pace Center for Girls, Palm Beach. It was an unforgettable evening filled with community, generosity, and heart. ❤️

A special thank you to our dedicated co-chairs, Pamela Pangas Cope and Sean Casey, whose leadership and commitment helped make the night such a success.
