Worshipful Ted Parker and the brothers from Palm Springs 693 are starting to do something a bit different with our monthly Socrates Cafe discussions. This Tuesday, May 12, we will be hosting an Entered Apprentice-themed roundtable based on the EA Candidate Guide, available for brothers at www.Freemason.org. Then the following Tuesday, May 19, we will return with our normal monthly Socrates Cafe discussion for candidates and anybody interested in Freemasonry centered on three questions — "What is essential?" “Who decides what is essential?” and “What are the powers of the governor?” Please comment, message or email [email protected] for a Zoom invite.

In less than an hour, the free event "Admit him if properly clothed, the history of the Masonic Apron in America 1740 to the present" will be livestreamed online. The Masons of California-organized event is the first of a series of webinars aimed at retaining Masonic education amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Attendees must register in advance. It begins at 7:30 p.m.

Masons of California is hosting a free speakers series online during the coronavirus pandemic. The first one begins at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, and is all about the Masonic apron in America. Register here.

Stated meetings may be postponed while California remains sheltered in place, but beginning this month, a new slate of online programming means Masons can connect, learn, and grow from the safety of their homes.
