Late Saturday night through early Sunday morning of this weekend was the annual moonlight hike through Painted Canyon hosted by the OA members of Aca Chapter of Cahuilla Lodge.
Fifteen daring scouts from Troop 1701, Troop 1973, Troop 77, Troop 707, and crew 76 braved the cold and stayed up all night for one of the most adventurous hikes offered in southern California.

A special thank you to everyone that came out for this hike.

What are you doing to celebrate National Trails Day on June 1?
Consider joining Aca Chapter's annual shoreline cleanup at Lake Perris SRA on June 1. We will be paddling canoes and kayaks out to Alessandro Island to cleanup trash.
There will be free entry for people participating in the shoreline cleanup service project. After the service project we will have a potluck lunch at Sail Cove and the canoes and kayaks will be available to paddle around through the afternoon.
