Please welcome Erin Ward, MSN, RN, SCRN to the Center. Erin is our new Clinical Director and is bringing her years of experience in clinical rehab and nursing management to help us provide superior service as we thrive to reopen after this long COVID-19 pause.

We give our thanks to Nancy Doheny, RN who has been with us over our long pandemic response and has talked with many of your over ZOOM and on the telephone. Her dedication has helped make the situation a little better.

We spoke too soo. The Friday clinic for vaccinations has just been cancelled by Desert Healthcare Network. Pfizer will be available at the convention center for those of you who are looking for the younger members of your family. We will let you know if any clinics are needed in the future. It is good news that appointments are getting less and less - hopefully that means everyone who needs the vaccine has it.

This Friday we will be offering Pfizer vaccinations 8:00am to noon
You may get appointments at myturn.ca.gov or you can just walk -in. Everyone over 16 years of age is eligible. Don't hesitate - the sooner we are all vaccinated, the sooner we can enjoy so many of the friends, family and activities we have been missing for the last year. Let's get through this together.

There is still time to register to attend the upcoming Living Well: Aging in the Coachella Valley Educational Series on "Facts & Myths on the COVID-19 Vaccine" with Dr. Monica Gandhi. The program will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. While the program is free, you must register by calling 760-422-5684.

Please feel free to pass on this information and the flyer to anyone whom you think would be interested. Given that a significant number of people are not sure if they should get the vaccine, this is a program that shouldn't be missed
