๐ฎ๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐๐คThe Palm Springs Police Department Facilitates Community Engagement with Series of Neighborhood Town Hall Meetings๐ค๐๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐ฎ
The Palm Springs Police Department is pleased to announce a series of four Neighborhood Town Hall Meetings, inviting residents, businesses, and community stakeholders to join us for a progress update, while participating in setting priorities for the next two years.
These specially designed sessions are scheduled for February 26th-29th, aimed at fostering a constructive dialogue and providing a platform for the community to discuss chronic issues and actively participate in the problem-solving process.
Residents and businesses are strongly encouraged to attend the session nearest to them, where each meeting will be facilitated by Police Chief Andy Mills and PSPD Command Staff. These sessions will outline public safety priorities and propose effective solution strategies.
The Palm Springs Police Department is committed to analyzing crime maps, patterns in criminal data, and service calls. By combining practical experience with insights from academic research, the department is dedicated to implementing evidence-based strategies to effectively reduce, manage, and control crime.
Committed to fostering collaboration and communication, the department actively engages with residents, businesses, and stakeholders to ensure public safety and enhance the overall quality of life in Palm Springs.
The series of meetings are scheduled as follows:

NORTH DISTRICT: Monday, February 26th, 4:30 to 5:30 pm, Raymond Cree Middle School Cafeteria, 1011 E. VISTA CHINO

BUSINESS DISTRICT: Tuesday, February 27th, 11:00 to Noon, Convention Center East Lawn, 277 N. Avenida Caballeros

CENTRAL DISTRICT, Wednesday February 28th, 5:30 to 6:30 pm, Hilton, Tapestry Room, 400 E Tahquitz Way

SOUTH DISTRICT, Thursday, February 29th, 4:00 to 5:00 pm, Indian Canyons Golf Resort South Clubhouse, 1097 E. Murray Canyon
The North District encompasses the Northern City Limits to Alejo Rd.
The Central/Business District includes downtown between Alejo and Ramon.
The South District goes from Ramon Rd to the southern city limits.
Residents who are unable to attend the meeting in their district are encouraged to participate in another session on a date that suits their availability. We look forward to seeing you!
