❤Volunteers are needed at Florida Wildlife Hospital!❤
If you're looking for a way to spend some free time, consider joining our volunteer team! Our volunteers help us with everything from dishes and laundry, to walking tortoises and helping prep diets for patients. Plus, volunteers may have the opportunity to grow and help out with hands-on patient care, rescues, releases, events, and more! Our current needs are primarily in the afternoons, along with Thursday and Saturday morning shifts. However, any days are welcome! More baby birds = more newspaper needed!

Our nursery is still packed with tons of species, from Mourning Doves, to Gopher tortoises, to Common Grackles, that all require newspaper for their care.

🐦If you would like to help us prep this resource for our babies, join us for a short volunteer session next Saturday. These sessions are free & for any age that can participate. Head to our website https://floridawildlifehospital.org to register before space runs out!

📰Even if you cannot make it on the 13th, if you have newspaper you would like to donate for our patients, you can drop it off at any time to the hospital! Our lobby is open from 9am-4:30pm everyday and our address is 4560 US-1 Melbourne FL, 32935.
