First up, congratulations to The Joslyn Center on its recent Desert Sun feature highlighting the “Avant-Garden” Fashion Show Luncheon.

This event supports programs and services for older adults and reflects the creativity, generosity, and community spirit that make our nonprofit sector so strong.

We look forward to continuing to celebrate the organizations doing meaningful work throughout our region.

Congratulations to 29PSP on celebrating its 2nd Anniversary at Avondale Country Club in Palm Desert!

RAP Foundation CEO Leticia De Lara, her husband Denys Arcuri, and RAP Board Member and Desert Hot Springs Councilmember, District 3, Jan Pye, attended the celebration in support of this important community organization.

29 PSP is a nonprofit that provides complimentary transportation for active-duty military members and their loved ones traveling between the Twentynine Palms Marine Base and the Palm Springs and Ontario airports.

This 100% volunteer organization has already provided more than 3,000 rides, helping Marines and their families travel with less stress and greater support.

We are grateful for the dedication of 29 PSP and the volunteers who make this work possible. Congratulations on two years of service and impact!

RAP Foundation was proud to sponsor the Annual Rotary Math Day at John Glenn Middle School in Indio.

This wonderful event brought students together for a day focused on learning, problem-solving, and building confidence in math. RAP Foundation CEO Lety De Lara attended alongside RAP Board Members Maria Meyer and Sheryl Benoit, and Rotarian Martha Mendez.

We are grateful to support opportunities that encourage student success and strengthen connections across our community.

The RAP Foundation Board attended and enjoyed learning about our robust economy. Thank you to the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians for hosting us at Fantasy Springs Casino.

We were so happy to partner with IEHP Foundation at IE Vibrant Health Forum: Navigating Changes to Medi-Cal at the Eisenhower Health campus in Rancho Mirage. Nearly 50 local nonprofit leaders attended to learn about Medi-Cal eligibility and renewal changes that will help their community members maintain their healthcare coverage.

Thank you to our Board Chair, Aurora Wilson, who greeted nonprofits and guests. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our speakers: IEHP Eligibility & Outreach Supervisor Brenda Sanchez and IEHP Foundation Board Member Dr. Conrado Barzaga.

We are pleased to share some early feedback from attendees — 70% of respondents indicated they will be opening a CBO BenefitsCal account for the first time.
