BRING A GUEST/WIN A PRIZE AT THE KICK-OFF

Join in on the fun at the 2025 Chapter Kick-off on Sunday, Nov. 9, and bring a friend! Each member who brings a guest/potential new member to the event will receive a $20 PGA Tour Superstore gift card. And each woman who joins at the Kick-off will get a $50 refund on her first Chapter golf event.

Registration remains open for the exciting Kick-off at Desert Princess in Cathedral City. The event starts with check-in at 8:30 a.m., then a 9 a.m. welcome and breakfast, hosted by the Chapter. Followed by 18 holes of golf, with tee times starting at 11 a.m. Greens fee: $100.

The Chapter also will hold a 50/50 cash giveaway, so bring plenty of cash to buy as many tickets as you’d like. Five tickets for $10.

The morning’s agenda includes providing the scoop on upcoming tournaments such as a Chapter Championship and the annual Cactus Cup; welcoming new members; and meeting Board members.

Chapter members and guests had a great time playing at the storied Bermuda Dunes country club on Saturday, September 6. It was a match- play tournament hosted and organized by Cathy Brown. The Chapter donated money to pay for the excellent tee prizes that Cathy put together.

We had a fun time playing at Hawks Landing in Yucca Valley yesterday. Members and one guest. None of us had never played Hawks Landing before so it was an adventure. It’s a nice layout of 12 holes. You play 18 by repeating 1 through 6. And Yucca Valley was a tiny bit cooler than the Coachella Valley. The next event is September 6. See the next post for more details.
