Last Thursday’s boxing practice had great focus from the start. After warming up with laps, the athletes split into two groups — half working footwork and punch combinations, and the other half spread around the inside of the ring in six pairs, practicing light sparring while moving through their footwork patterns. We wrapped up with individual sparring rounds, and the effort across the board was strong.

The last few volleyball classes have been something special. The athletes have been locked in during drills, showing real growth in their movement and ball control. Both the 4‑on‑4 and 6‑on‑6 scrimmages have been competitive and fun to watch, and the energy they bring each class keeps the gym buzzing. Proud of the effort they’re putting in as we move through the season.

Yesterday marked the start of our summer volleyball season, and the atmosphere in the gym was outstanding. Both athletes and coaches came in with great energy as we began our beginning‑of‑season evaluations. This process allows us to get to know each athlete, understand their current skill level, and ensure they are placed in an environment where they can grow and succeed. We were pleased to welcome back many returning athletes and equally excited to meet the new athletes joining our program. We are looking forward to a strong and productive season ahead.

Tuesday’s boxing practice brought the heat from start to finish. The athletes started outside with footwork drills, knocked out four strong laps around the track, and pushed through fast sprints down the length of the field. They came back inside already fired up, then locked in on their boxing combinations and wrapped up with tough physical training.

The effort was nonstop, the energy was high, and this group keeps showing why they’re leveling up every week. Proud of the work they’re putting in.
