The final week of our PAL Volleyball practices was nothing short of amazing. The athletes dialed in on their setting, serving, passing, and hitting during game play as they prepared for this weekend’s tournament. Their growth this season has been incredible — they’ve put in real work, stayed dedicated, and it shows every time they step on the court.

We still have 10 spots available in our Beginner class (8pm–9pm) for anyone looking to join the next season.

Our new season begins next Monday, August 24, and we’re excited for another great round of volleyball with our athletes and families.

Our PAL Boxing athletes had a strong week of training and showed great focus in both classes.

Tuesday’s session centered around sparring. The younger boxers spent time sharpening their punches, practicing their slips, and getting in a quick exercise round before stepping into controlled sparring. We wrapped up with full‑group physical training, and everyone pushed through to the end.

Thursday’s class started outside with four laps, setting the tone early. Inside, athletes worked on punch technique and heavy bag rounds. Partners rotated every minute, switching between fast‑hands rounds and heavy‑hands rounds to build power and speed. The day finished with conditioning that had the whole group working hard.

Proud of the effort and discipline these athletes continue to bring each week. Great job, PAL Boxing! 🥊💪

As we head into the final stretch of our volleyball season, the athletes are showing just how far they’ve come. Tomorrow is our last practice, and next week we’ll close out the season with our tournament — Intermediate on Friday, and Beginner and Advanced on Saturday.

Their hustle, teamwork, communication, and overall skill development have been outstanding. From passing and serving to setting and court awareness, the improvement is clear. These game‑focused sessions have been a great way to highlight all the progress they’ve made.

Our next season begins Monday, August 24. We currently have two spots left in our Beginner class from 8pm to 9pm for anyone looking to join. Register at https://flagler-sheriffs-pal-inc.gymdesk.com/signup

Last week’s boxing classes brought great intensity and focus. Athletes completed an obstacle course, incorporated weighted drills, and used a four‑station ring setup to work corner techniques.

They trained punches with light dumbbells, combined kettlebell squats with striking, and continued their heavy bag rounds before finishing each session with conditioning. Proud of the effort they continue to show.
