Subject: September PTO Volunteer Update 💚🐾

Hi Wadsworth PTO Members!

September is here, and we have a busy month ahead! I wanted to send everyone a quick update so you know what’s coming up and where we could use some extra hands.

🍦 September 9 – Sweet Melissa’s Ice Cream Day
Students will have the opportunity to order a special treat from Sweet Melissa’s! Orders must be turned in by September 7. Please help us spread the word so families don’t miss the deadline.

🐾 September 15 – PTO Meeting | 4:15 PM
Our September PTO meeting will be held in the Wadsworth Media Center. Everyone is welcome — we’d love to see you there!

💃 September 17 – Back to School Dance
Our first dance of the year! We’ll definitely need some volunteer help with setup, during the dance, and cleanup. If you’re available and would like to help, please reach out to us.

🍝 September 24 – Teacher & Staff Pasta Bar
The Admin Team is providing the food, and PTO will be helping bring it all together! We’ll be cooking, setting up, keeping the pasta bar running, and cleaning up afterward. If you’re available during the day and would like to lend a hand, let us know!

🚚 September 25 – Food Truck Friday | Crazy Good Eats
Crazy Good Eats will be on campus for our teachers and staff to purchase lunch.

❤️ Fridays – Provision Packs
Provision Packs is an ongoing Friday volunteer opportunity. If you’d like to help, even if you can’t commit to every Friday, we’d love to have you!

As each event gets closer, we’ll share more information about when and where help is needed. You don’t have to volunteer for everything! Whether you can give us an hour at one event or help throughout the year, we truly appreciate it.

And don’t forget to follow WES PTO on Facebook! We post event updates, reminders, volunteer needs, and everything else happening with PTO there.

🥤✨ COMMUNITY DONOR SPOTLIGHT — GOOD VIBES NUTRITION! ✨🥤

A huge THANK YOU to Good Vibes Nutrition Of Palm Coast for supporting our Wadsworth teachers and staff! 💚

Good Vibes generously donated multiple gift cards for our staff to stop in, treat themselves, and try a healthier alternative packed with nutrition! 🥤💪 From protein shakes to their popular power teas, they have plenty of delicious options to give you a little boost while you’re on the go.

🥔💙Our first Food Truck Friday of the year was a HIT! ❤️🥔

A HUGE thank you to Fat Boi Gourmet Potatoes for making the trip up from Daytona today to serve the teachers and staff of Lewis E Wadsworth Elementary and Buddy Taylor Middle School!

Known for their HUGE gourmet loaded potatoes and seriously good comfort food, they definitely did not disappoint. 🤤 Every time we looked outside, there was a line at the truck — and the food was DELICIOUS!

Thank you to the staff from both schools for coming out and showing Fat Boi so much love. They told us they had a great time and can’t wait to come back again — and we can’t wait to have them! 💚🥔

🍫🍦 Sweet treats make for a pretty sweet week at Wadsworth! 💙💚

Yesterday, our staff got to enjoy “Meet Me at the Chocolate Bar” — a special treat sponsored by our amazing Wadsworth Admin Team and put together by the WES PTO! 🍫🍓

We loved getting to spoil our teachers and staff with a little chocolate break during their day. They do so much for our Panthers, and they deserve it!

🍦 And speaking of sweet treats… Sweet Melissa’s Ice Cream Day is September 9th!

Flyers will be coming home TODAY in Friday folders — unless you already got yours. 😉 Just scan the QR code on the flyer to order!

JH Property Maintenance is a family-owned and operated Palm Coast business specializing in pressure washing and soft washing. They can tackle everything from driveways, patios and home exteriors to roofs, pool cages, decks, fences and more.

If you have Wadsworth kids, there’s a pretty good chance Sweet Melissa’s is already a favorite! 😋

🌟 LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: Bartletts 🌟

A HUGE thank you to Bartletts Restaurant for generously donating gift cards to support Wadsworth Elementary PTO! We are so grateful to have amazing local businesses that continue to show up for our school and our community. ❤️

If you haven’t been to Bartletts yet, put it on your list! Their menu is fine dining with a Southern flair, with everything from braised beef short ribs and Southern fried chicken to shrimp & grits, fresh seafood, lamb lollipops, fried green tomatoes and more. And that fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese, honey and pickled green tomato?! 🤤
