What a great PTO meeting last night! 💙🐾

Along with electing our new PTO Board for the upcoming school year, we also spent time reflecting on everything our PTO and families have accomplished together this year and looking ahead to some exciting end of year activities still to come.

We discussed upcoming volunteer opportunities including:

📚 Sunshine State Reader ice cream parties this Friday at 12:30, 2pm and 3pm
🎣 The special 5th grade fishing trip with Mr. Anderson on Monday May 18th
💦 The Big 3 Water Parties on May 19th, where volunteers will help with Purr Bucks store!!

We also reviewed this year’s PTO financials and shared that over $22,000 has been processed through Zeffy this school year through dances, spirit events, shirts, fundraisers, and school activities. Every event, volunteer hour, donation, and ticket purchased has helped support our students, staff, and school community in a big way.

One of the biggest highlights of the night was officially voting in our 2026–2027 PTO Board:

✨ Candace D. — Treasurer

We are excited to welcome Candace to the board after already giving so much of her time volunteering at Wadsworth. We also shared a huge thank you to Jennifer F. for her years of dedication as Treasurer. Even though she is stepping down, we know she will still be around supporting Wadsworth whenever needed.

Thank you to everyone who came out, participated, volunteered, donated, and supported PTO this year. We truly could not do any of this without our amazing Wadsworth families and staff. Here’s to finishing the year strong and an even better year ahead! 💙🐾

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our amazing Wadsworth moms, grandmas, bonus moms, guardians, and mother figures! 💙🐾

Thank you for the rides to school, the late night homework help, the packed lunches, the volunteering, the cheering from the sidelines, and all the little things nobody else sees. Our school is stronger because of the love and support you give every single day.

We hope today you feel celebrated, appreciated, and maybe even get a little time to relax. You deserve it! 🌸💙

It’s a wrap on our Italian Feast Day! 🍝💙

Today the PTO served up a homemade lunch for our amazing staff after a long week of state testing. The menu included fettuccine with shrimp or chicken, spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, salad, bread, and of course… banana pudding! 🍌

What a fun way to celebrate our fabulous teachers and staff and show them just how appreciated they are. Thank you to everyone who helped cook, prep, serve, and clean up. We truly have the best school family around! 🐾

Today was such a flurry of fun that we only got one picture 😂 But honestly… those Chick-fil-A boxes speak volumes.

Day 3 of Staff Appreciation Week was a full on breakfast feast and our staff felt SO loved! 💙🐾

A huge thank you to Benise & Marc Laurore with ValuTeachers | National Life Group for providing delicious croissants and muffins to help start the morning off right.

Big thanks as well to the Dunkin’ team for hooking everyone up with donuts and coffee. Dunkin' rocks!!

Our amazing PTO ladies were busy in the kitchen making scrambled eggs, sausage and peppers, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee for the entire staff.

And to top it all off, every staff member received a beautiful flower donated by our local Lowe’s Home Improvement 🌸

We truly have the most incredible community support around our school. Thank you to everyone who helped make today special for our hardworking staff! 💙🐾

Day 2 of Staff Appreciation Week 💙🐾

After a little hiccup this morning, we got everything up and running and it turned out so good. Lunch, sweet treats, snacks, and sides came together for a great day for our staff.

From Publix subs to those amazing funnel cakes (still thinking about them 😍), plus all the extras, it was such a fun way to treat everyone. Sweet Shelia's Funnel Cake was amazing treating the entire staff to her delicious funnel cakes!

Shoutout to the Belle Terre Crossing Publix crew — Joe, Terri, and Erin — you seriously saved the day!!!

We appreciate our Wadsworth staff more than words can say 💙🐾
