Faver-Dykes State Park is seeking self-motivated park service professionals to fill OPS Park Ranger positions.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Selected applicants will assist with a variety of park operations, including:
• On-the-job-training
• Visitor services and public engagement
• Park maintenance and facility upkeep
• Resource management and conservation activities
• Park protection and safety
• Administrative support and operations
• Toll collecting and Campground Registration at Ranger Station
• Pay: $15.00 per hour

Qualified candidates should possess strong customer service skills, as well as experience or aptitude in maintenance, administrative duties, and working in an outdoor environment.

🌿 Plant Sale Reminder! 🌿

Looking to add something beautiful to your home or garden? Join the Friends of Washington Oaks this Second Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM for their monthly Florida-Friendly Plant Sale!

🌸 Shop a wonderful selection of:
🌿 Florida-friendly plants
🌺 Flowers & flowering shrubs
🪴 Patio and houseplants
🌱 Garden favorites, including Florida native plants

New plant varieties are featured each month, so there's always something new to discover! Many of the plants have been lovingly propagated and grown in the park by Friends volunteers, with all proceeds supporting improvements and enhancements at Washington Oaks.

💵 Cash is appreciated to help speed up purchases.
♻️ Please bring your own reusable bags or containers to take your new plants home.

📍 Admission to the plant sale is included with paid park entry:

We are Hiring! OPS Toll Collector

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park is looking to fill 2 OPS toll collector positions.

Looking to fill part-time and full-time with a flexible schedule.

On the job training will be provided for the selected candidate.

Responsible for greeting visitors at the Ranger Station and collecting fees for park entrance and annual pass sales.
Provide information pertaining to the park and park activities. Informing visitors of park rules and providing directions.
Operate a point-of-sale cash register; accurately collect and enter sales transactions; complete shift reports. Maintain an organized workspace and answer phones.

Qualified candidates should possess strong customer service skills, basic arithmetic, basic computer skills, cash handling and experience with the operation of a point of sale system.
Valid driver’s license required.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
