🇺🇸 NATIONAL AIRBORNE DAY | AUGUST 16 🇺🇸

Today we honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who earned the right to wear Airborne wings and answered the call to jump into the unknown. 🪂

August 16 commemorates the first official U.S. Army parachute jump in 1940 and the proud legacy of America’s Airborne forces.

To all of our Airborne Veterans, past and present, thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and service to our nation.

⭐ FUN FACT: The NCO pictured was the first 17C Cyber Soldier to graduate Airborne School in the Army in 2017! 🪂💻 Pretty cool piece of Army history right there!
