❤️ UPDATE! ❤️

Because of the incredible kindness of our community, this need has been met!

Through the generosity of a collective group of caring individuals and our amazing ongoing sponsors, this foster family has now received:

Two bunk beds
Four new full-size mattresses
Bedding and pillows for every child
Clothing
Full back-to-school supplies for all of the children

What seemed like an overwhelming need quickly became a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with generous hearts.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who donated, shared our post, sponsored items, or reached out to help. You have made a lasting difference in the lives of these children, and we are truly grateful for every one of you.

This is what Seawolf Privateers is all about…neighbors helping neighbors and making sure children know they are loved. ❤️🏴‍☠️

We’re reaching out to our amazing Seawolf Privateers family for a very special need. ❤️

One of our foster families has 8 children, including a sibling group of 4 brothers who were able to stay together. Keeping siblings together is so important, and we’re honored to help make that possible.

To give these children a safe and comfortable place to sleep, they need:
🏴‍☠️ 2 sets of bunk beds
🏴‍☠️ 4 new full-size mattresses for the older children/teens

Thanks to the generosity of our community, Seawolf Privateers has already been able to provide one bunk bed, but we still have more to do.

If you would like to donate toward the purchase of the bunk beds, clothing for these teens, school supplies or have a new full-size mattress you would like to donate, please send us a message. Every dollar and every donation helps create a safe, loving home for these children.

Last night our crew set sail on our Plundering Provisions mission, storming the aisles of Walmart with shopping lists in hand and a purpose in our hearts.

Each Privateer was assigned several foster or displaced children and given their school supply list. Together, our crew plundered the provisions needed for 76 local children to begin the new school year with confidence.

From backpacks and notebooks to pencils, crayons, calculators, and everything in between, cart after cart was filled with the tools these young Privateers need to succeed.

None of this happens without an incredible crew. Thank you to every Seawolf Privateer who spent your evening shopping, laughing, comparing school lists, and making sure every child had exactly what they needed. You didn't just buy school supplies. You reminded 76 children that their community believes in them.

Next up is Pirates, Pizza & Provisions, where we'll distribute the supplies to each family along with a take-home pizza dinner to enjoy together.

Thank you to everyone who supports the mission of the Seawolf Privateers. Because of you, 76 children in Flagler County will begin the school year prepared, encouraged, and knowing they're loved.

Congratulations to the Seawolf Privateers for taking home Best Float at the Flagler Beach 4th of July Parade! 🏴‍☠️🇺🇸

What a day! The sun was out, the crowd was loud, and our crew showed up and looking fierce and fabulous. So proud of everyone who helped decorate and represent the Seawolf Privateers in style!

Thanks to our awesome crew for making it such a great one. We are already looking forward to next year!

As America celebrates 250 years this Independence Day, I've been thinking about what has truly made this country extraordinary.

It's not just the history.
It's not the monuments.
It's not the fireworks.
It's the people.

For 250 years, America has been built by ordinary people who chose to care for someone besides themselves. Neighbors helping neighbors. Families opening their homes. Volunteers giving their time. Communities coming together when someone needed a hand.
That's the America worth celebrating!

Here at Seawolf Privateers, we have the privilege of witnessing that spirit every day.

We've watched volunteers spend their evenings sorting Christmas gift and stuffing Easter baskets for children they've never met. We've seen businesses donate meals, toys, clothing, and school supplies. We've watched complete strangers become family to foster children simply because they chose to care.
To every volunteer, sponsor, donor, business partner, and supporter who has walked beside us over the past few years - thank you.

You have helped remind children that they matter.
You've encouraged foster families when they needed it most.
You've brought hope where there was uncertainty and joy where there had been disappointment.
You are part of something much bigger than any one organization.

But imagine what our community could become if every person decided to help just one other person.

What if every family encouraged another family?
What if every business invested in its community?
What if every neighbor looked for someone who needed a little hope?

We often wait for someone else to make a difference.
The truth is... we are the "someone else."

This Independence Day, as you celebrate with family and friends and watch the fireworks fill the sky, I hope you'll remember that the brightest light in America has never come from the fireworks above us.

It has always come from the hearts of her people.

If Seawolf Privateers has inspired you, we'd love to have you become part of our crew. Whether you volunteer at an event, sponsor a program, donate supplies, or simply share our mission with someone else, you become part of changing a child's story.

And if our organization isn't where your heart leads you, that's okay too.

Find a cause you believe in.
Volunteer at a local nonprofit.
Mentor a child.
Visit a nursing home.
Help a veteran.
Support a family in crisis.
Just do something.

Because when ordinary people choose compassion, communities change.
If enough communities change...
Our nation continues to become the America our founders dreamed it could be.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing Seawolf Privateers crew members who came out yesterday to help make our Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf & Pizza Hut Day such a success for our foster families! 🏴‍☠️❤️

The families had an incredible time, and we’ve received so much wonderful feedback about how much fun everyone had. From greeting families, helping with activities, cheering on the golfers, serving food, and simply spending time making children feel special, each of you played an important role in creating a day filled with smiles, laughter, and memories.

We are so grateful for every crew member who donated their time and energy to support these families. And to those who may not have made it into the photos- please know your efforts were just as appreciated! Every volunteer helped make this event possible.

Thank you for continuing to live out the mission of Seawolf Privateers and for showing these children and families that they are always part of the crew.

The Seawolf Privateers Krewe would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jo Andrews for her dedicated service as our Treasurer over the past three years.

Jo brought a tremendous amount of financial knowledge, organization, and professionalism to our organization and has been an incredible asset to the Seawolf Privateers. During her time on the Board of Directors, she helped create both the Finance Committee and the Grant Committee, serving as Chair of both and helping lay an important foundation for the future of our organization.

We are deeply grateful for the countless hours, hard work, and energy she has poured into helping us support local foster and displaced children and families.

As Jo steps away from the board to focus on some personal matters, we want her to know how much she is appreciated and how greatly she will be missed. Thankfully, this is not goodbye entirely - we still expect to see her around some of our Seawolf Privateers events whenever possible, and we look forward to those moments.

Thank you, Jo, for everything you have done for this crew and the children we serve. Once a Privateer, always a Privateer. 💙🏴‍☠️
