We're one week away from this amazing gathering and we're sooooo ecstatic!! There are only a few more spots available for this event!!! These girls are in for a treat!! Here's some information about our guest speaker, who's coming all the way from Washington, D.C. to be with us!!
Dr. Kara Glover is a Medical Director in oncology for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals supporting genitourinary cancers. She oversees all of the strategy alignment and ex*****on of medical affairs tactics regarding the US team. She graduated from the Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, affectionately known as FAMU, with her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2020 where she served as student body president for years. She then went on to complete a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in the pharmaceutical industry with AstraZeneca in prostate and pancreatic cancer. Kara is driven by a passion of improving patient outcomes, access, inclusion and diversity, and health literacy for all patients. Aside from her role, she is the lead for I&D High School and College Scholarship and the co-lead for Black Health Matters initiative at AstraZeneca.
She is from Orlando, FL and currently lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her adorable puppy, Kannon, and her fiancée, Taylour. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, dancing, and eating anything and everything!
